[F4M] A traditionalist takes a bride!
Heya! I’m a 21+ female here in search of a writing partner for a FxM pairing! I’m hoping to find someone who is interested in writing as a devout Christian traditionalist. As for my idea, I ended up keeping it somewhat vague so we can discuss and adapt it into something that we’re both interested in. However, all of the plots below are totally negotiable and can be changed in whichever way we’d like. I’m also totally open to incorporating other historical eras along with cult or post-apocalyptic themes as well. Looking forward to hearing from you!
**Writer must be:**
\- Over the age of 21
\- Okay with dark and mature themes
\- Willing to use Discord for our roleplay
\- Fine with writing in third person
**Some of the many plots (message for more):**
- The Shepherd’s Daughter
In a quiet mountain valley where church bells still mark the hours, the preacher’s daughter has been raised to value modesty, obedience, and steady faith. She spends her days helping her mother, and tending a small garden. When a reserved cattle rancher begins attending services regularly, his plain speech and unwavering convictions draw her attention. He works long days on rugged land, living without excess. Though gentle with her, he is firm in belief, refusing gossip, drink, and compromise. Their courtship unfolds under her father’s careful supervision. Yet opposition arises. Some townsfolk mock his old-fashioned standards; even a few church members whisper that he is too rigid, too serious. Through patient endurance, she learns the quiet strength beneath his stoicism, and he finds in her a gracious helpmeet.
- The Homemaker’s Promise
In a tidy 1950s American town of corner diners and Sunday services, a soft-spoken young woman treasures one ambition: to become a devoted wife and mother. Raised by parents who taught her thrift, hospitality, and reverence for Scripture, she finds fulfillment in baking bread and mending linens. When the town’s hardware shop owner begins calling on her, she is both nervous and hopeful. He is a man of discipline, careful with money, punctual, and deeply committed to Biblical order in home and church. As he courts her formally, always seeking her father’s counsel, they speak not of romance alone but of duty, children, and stewardship. Meanwhile, modern influences creep into town, women urged toward careers, families abandoning tradition. Their relationship is tested as friends question her simple aspirations and his firm expectations.
- The Remnant
When cities crumble and chaos reigns, a former rural pastor refuses to abandon responsibility. Retreating to his farmland, he gathers a handful of survivors committed to order and honest labor. Among them is a quiet young woman from the city, unfamiliar with soil-stained hands or livestock, yet sincere in belief. He teaches her patiently, how to plant rows straight, preserve food, and draw water from the well. Evenings are spent reading by lamplight, rebuilding spiritual discipline alongside physical survival. She learns resilience, he learns gentleness. He sees in her not weakness, but faithful devotion, she sees in him principled leadership. Together they envision more than survival, they dream of raising children, rebuilding families, and restoring covenant life from the ashes of collapse.
- City on a Hill
After society fractures into roaming bands ruled by fear, one devout man refuses to yield. Gathering families, he establishes a fortified settlement governed by Biblical principles. Order replaces chaos within its borders. One evening, a weary young woman seeks refuge at their gates. Raised amid the excess and corruption of the old world, she possesses a humble spirit. He permits her to remain, assigning her simple duties among the women. Her diligence and quiet gratitude quickly earn respect. As she studies under his guidance, her transformation strengthens the entire community. She tempers his stern leadership with compassion; he offers her protection and direction. Together they embody repentance and obedience, demonstrating that renewal begins not in grand declarations, but in disciplined faithfulness.
- The Pioneer’s Bride
On the untamed frontier of the early 1800s, a solitary homesteader fells trees and raises a cabin from raw timber, praying daily for a wife to keep his home. Life is harsh, long winters, uncertain harvests, distant neighbors. When his mail-order bride finally arrives after weeks of travel, she steps down from the wagon pale and overwhelmed. Raised in a small town, she has known comfort but little hardship. He greets her with gentle formality, assuring her of provision and protection. Their early days test them both. He teaches her to load a rifle for safety; she teaches him patience, song, and warmth at day’s end. Through storms, sickness, and scarce supplies, their bond deepens.
- Ashes of the Covenant
In the uneasy years following the Civil War, a weary veteran returns to find his Southern homestead burned and fields neglected. Haunted by loss and humbled by defeat, he resolves to rebuild not only fences and barns but the discipline he believes his family once upheld. Nearby lives a young woman devoted to caring for her aging father and maintaining a modest household despite scarcity. Her steadfast purity and habitual prayer draw his attention. Their acquaintance begins through shared church gatherings and practical cooperation, mending tools, exchanging produce. She sees beneath his stern exterior to a repentant heart seeking redemption. He admires her quiet strength amid hardship. He commits to leading with integrity rather than pride; she pledges faithful partnership. Together they rebuild land and legacy, determined that covenant faithfulness will outlast the ruins of war.
