Why do people not like to look in the mirror on psychedelics?

It seems like a big thing for a lot of people who trip... to avoid looking at mirrors. But I don't fully understand why. Do people just find those visuals unsettling or is there some specific reaction I'm missing?

Personally when I trip I love staring at myself in the mirror and I could do it for a while. Its cool to see your face change and I'll get some of the strongest and most memorable visuals this way.

I've definitely experienced some weird disconnect from my body and interesting pysical sensations while doing this, so maybe thats the undesirable part? But psychs kinda do that in general lol

If you avoid mirrors and/or don't like to look in them when you trip, whats your reasoning?

Weird trip I had where rich girls used my body to get high

Took a tab of acid then immediately got super drowsy which never happens to me on acid. I laid down then was literally locked in my bed for 2-3 hours (but it felt like 8+ hours.) I was in and out of consciousness in this half dream or partial breakthrough state.

In my "dream" or "breakthrough" or whatever type state I saw this huge, super richy looking, all white apartment complex. I was laying on the floor between multiple apartments outside.

There was a group of rich girls, all seemed pretty young and had bright colored hair. They were looking at me on the floor laughing at me.

The girls kept injecting me with different drugs and laughing at me while I just laid there. And those drugs were making me feel more drowsy and out of it like I couldn't get up or move at all.

I perceived it as the girls getting high from the drugs, and my body was being used to process all the "bad" effects for them. They kept getting higher and I kept feeling closer to death.

I'd go in and out of seeing this place or coming to and being back in my room. I'd try to get up out of bed, but felt so insanely tired and almost sick, all I could do was lay back down. And then I'd be in it again. At some point I remeber my body twitching like I was dying and I'm not sure if that physical movement happened irl or if it just felt real.

Cycle continued for a while. Eventually suddenly stopped and I could get up.

Idk interpret what that means how you want. Hope this makes some type of sense

Extreme drowsiness after very little alcohol; is there any way for me to enjoy drinking again?

I miss being able to enjoy some alcohol on my weekends.

I cant have a good time on it at all anymore because I get so tired. Literally 1 or 2 shots, sometimes only half a cidar/beer, and I just feel like going to sleep. It sucks all the fun out of it.

I used to be able to have a good time and not wanna pass out till the end of the night when I'd crash hard. But now I try to have even a little and I'm low energy, yawning, and mentally tired. I hate it. (I lost a significant amount of weight and I believe this is why its changed but idk)

Caffine does very little to help. Is there any good methods to stopping or reducing the drowsiness of alcohol? And is there any underlining reason I might get so tired after so little? I cant even casually enjoy one or two drinks with friends:/

Dont say snort coke lmao that actually makes me crash so hard its not worth it

Are people on here severely understating the potency of 4-HO-MET or did I take something else?

Tried a 3mg gummy of 4homet today. Or at least thats what the gummy claimed to be.

Let me restate that... 3mg. Basically nothing. From what I've read on here its very weak headspace/body high wise and just mostly visual. And most people are saying you need around 30mg to get a real high out of it.

For context, I am a big into hallucinogens and have tried every kind I can get my hands on. Lots of experience with shrooms, acid, 4aco, mdma, dmt etc etc so this isnt just me overreacting to feeling something psychedelic in nature for the first time lol.

Tonight I was already drunk and had taken a shroom microdose, to be fair. So many thats why. Idk how well it interacts with shrooms/alcohol. But that was also very little (0.5g shrooms hours ago and drank one hard cidar + 1 shot)

I had a new bag of a bunch of those 4homet gummies, decided to just take one randomly and see what happens lol. Genuinely figured it would not do anything because its such a low dose.

..

But I must say I was pretty shocked by the strength of the high. It hit fast, and ABSOLUTELY comes with a very noticeable psychedelic-type headspace. Which from what I read most others dont experience a lot of on this drug?

Mentally I feel like I'm on 2 grams of shrooms.

And the body high kinda feels like molly or something. As if you took the extreme physical euphoria out of mdma but every other part of that body feeling I pretty much have rn.

Very very noticeable. My entire body is light and floaty and there is definitely some level of a "rolling" type experience where it'll wax and wane and have waves of euphoric feelings. Super relaxing and comfortable anywhere. Stimulated and awake but not overly jittery at all. Feel like I could run a marathon or sit still and be fine. You probably know exactly the feeling I'm describing if you've done molly.

Visually, I'm tripping maybe similar to how you do on the comedown of a tab of acid or something. Like 12 hours after youve taken the tab and things still look "psychedelic" in a way but not super noticeable at all.

Its... a really good high? Lol. But it seems inconsistent from what I'd expect from the drug.

Do you think I took something else or have other people had similar experiences to this? Maybe I'm just hyper sensitive to it? Is this the shrooms and the gummy working together?

Its supposed to be a stim. I see people on here talking about how they wont be able to sleep for hours after taking it, or using it to combat the drowsiness of other drugs.

But I've tried coke multiple times from different sources out of curiosity. Haven't ingested a lot in my life by any means but I've had enough individual experiences with it to say it absolutely knocks me out.

Take a line, I am drowsy. If I do a few more I am just passing out. I genuinely could use it as a sleep aid. If I I'm kept awake by other stuff I'd actually expect Cocaine to help me sleep.

Sure I'll feel "stimmed up" for maybe... the duration of the high. Much less than an hour. As soon as that euphoria or whatever goes down I am more tired than anything. And at that point more Coke wont combat the "withdrawl" but just adds to the tiredness.

Anyone else/do you know why this would happen?? Other stimulants do not do this to me. Something like acid or mdma absolutely keep me awake and very active for hours.

I've seen most people say on here that snorting might be the best method of ingesting this stuff, but also heard many others say it hurts a lot

Is it much worse than mdma? Cause I can handle that fine enough lol. Honestly not too scared about a powder thats somewhat painful to snort, but would you say it gets into "not worth it" territory? Is there a better way to take this?
