Recently noticed this weird new "mark" on my Ranger that's less shiny than the rest of the toy and can't be washed off. I've only ever stored it with other Weredog toys and have NEVER used silicone-based lube. Anyone know what this is?
ADDITIONAL INFO:
I used to store all my Weredog toys together, touching (I've since moved them into separate bags as I'm worried that this may happen to more of my toys). This has never caused me any issues until now. However, yesterday I noticed that my Ranger has acquired this weird new "mark" that has the same texture as the rest of the toy (no stickiness or anything like that), but is less shiny. It isn't visible in dark lighting, but becomes noticeable in brighter lighting.
I'm extremely confused, as my Ranger has ONLY come into contact with other Weredog toys and I EXCLUSIVELY use water-based lube with all of my toys, NEVER silicone-based (which I'm aware can degrade silicone toys). I do not own, and have NEVER owned, any toys made out of toxic materials, like TPE or PVC; I only own silicone toys. I also don't use anything weird to clean my toys; only regular hand soap (which has never caused me any issues).
It's been quite warm in my room lately as my house doesn't have AC, but silicone should be able to tolerate extremely high temperatures so I don't see how that could lead to something like this. Also, platimum cured silicone toys shouldn't react with each other, so I also don't understand how storing them together could have caused this either. (As a sidenote, all my other toys look the same as they always have; it's just my Ranger that's been affected).
So, my questions are, what the hell is this and is it safe to use? I bought my Ranger pretty recently and paid full price, so I really hope it's a purely cosmetic thing and not a safety issue.
