[TIME WASTER] Approached me and wanted an arrangement but doesn't want to talk about the details.

His Snapchat was something like @dddream_chaser.

I explained that I would verify once we talked about what he wanted and the budget. But he just kept insisting I was fake or a scammer. I had a feeling that he would just take my verification video, which is why I was a bit hesitant to send it without clarifying the details of the arrangement first. He also said that I should send him what I look like so he would know if he wanted to push through, which doesn't even make any sense because I have pictures posted on my profile and he approached me first.

Am I crazy for asking for a down payment for custom content?

Hii everyone :) I have this person who messaged me here for some custom pics and vids. And when I asked for a down payment because it would be quite a bit of work to film, they started to accuse me of being a scammer. Is it not normal practice to have them pay the whole price or at least half before filming? Because that's what I've always done with custom requests.
