I've always been a bit curious about how sex relates to power dynamics (and maybe just kinda curious in general), so in this possibly rambling post I'm going to try to capture those ideas and see if anyone is interested in chatting about it!

First of all, on the highest level, to me sex is always somehow related to politics. Do you think the same way? Are there any politicians who you find hot, or more importantly, maybe you think about them in a sexual way, whether good or bad? Just curious! 🙈 (Btw I do have at least one politician crush 🥵)

Second, looking at it more in history, have you read about or encountered any stories of how people of the past used sex to gain, or hold, or exercise power? Maybe Cleopatra or other queens who used it to their advantage? Male rulers who took revenge?

And finallu, in the individual level, does having sex with someone make you feel more powerful? Less powerful? Have you ever made a "power move" to do with sex, like "stealing" someone else's partner, or maybe being in a relationship you probably shouldn't have been because your partner was in a position of power to you?
