I got water, wine, veggies, meat for dinner, bag of potato chips for the kids... what am I missing? I pat the pocket of my form-fitting high-riding mom jeans. Keys. Phone. Wallet. I frown. Maybe I'm imagining things? I shake my head. I better clear my head at the gym tomorrow, together with Janice. I take two steps to cross the road, and a blinding light suddenly rushes me from the left. I look, gasp, and something hard hits me before everything goes black.
I find myself a voiceless, bodiless, and nearly-thoughtless entity in a great star-filled void. Like a fluid without gravity, I bounce and bob around in peaceful eternity. This is it. It must be all over. My memories from before the great light that took me there are already fading as I prepare to embrace oblivion... before, suddenly, and painfully, I am sucked back into some kind of existence.
Suddenly, I feel things again. My brown hair in my face. My nagging backache, bothering me just above my round bottom. My bra digging into my chest just below my breasts. My socks feeling a little soggy. A voice calls me Susan, and it completes my return to existence. I'm Susan. That's right. I'm Susan. 41 years old. Married to Han, my husband. Hey there! Today I’m coming to you looking for brave GMs to run a cute little isekai roleplay for me! The twist on this isekai idea is that the player in question is a clueless, adorable mom who has never in her life touched a video game or an RPG, and is totally clueless about the traditional tropes and trappings of isekai worlds.
Is her momly kindness going to be an advantage, or will she naively step into every dungeon trap? Will she get stuck with cursed or bad tools? Will she forget she needs to equip a sword before using it? And how will she feel about orcs and ogres and other monsters that might like her in all the wrong ways? Can she become a successful adventurer and save the world? Or is she doomed to obscurity as an idiot outcast in this world?
I like to write about 2-4 paragraphs per message, and I would like partners who do the same. I also prefer roleplaying over Reddit DMs, as Reddit Chat can be very buggy and unreliable, and I don’t like using it as much.
