CI-2 → CI-3.5 in 7 months | My 7-month T-Tape experience at 2
Hey everyone!
I’m 22 years old, I work out regularly, and I generally try to take good care of my sleep and nutrition. I discovered this subreddit about 8 months ago and learned about foreskin restoration.
When I first heard about it, honestly, it seemed pretty weird and even impossible to me. I thought it was a scam. 😅 But eventually I figured, “What’s the harm in trying?” So I started doing my research and following the forums.
When I started, I was around CI-2.
Getting started
For the first two weeks, I used manual methods. However, I quickly realized that they took quite a lot of time and effort in my daily life. After a while, I decided to switch to T-Tape.
At first, preparing the T-Tape and figuring out the right amount of tension was honestly pretty difficult. I made the classic mistake:
“The more tension, the faster the results.”
Turns out, that was wrong. 😅
I used too much tension, injured myself, and had to completely stop for around 10 days.
That taught me an important lesson: More tension isn’t necessarily better.
After that, I did more research on proper application and continued with much lower tension that didn’t interfere with my daily life. For me, the goal was to keep the skin under consistent but tolerable tension.
During the first few weeks, I didn’t notice any visible growth, but I did start noticing a significant increase in skin elasticity and mobility.
When I noticed that, I was genuinely really happy. I thought, “Okay, something is actually happening.” That motivated me to keep going.
My 7-month T-Tape journey
For approximately 7 months, I used T-Tape around 5 days a week, for roughly 12–16 hours per day.
At first, I didn’t use it overnight. I was especially concerned about nighttime erections causing problems. Once I became more accustomed to the process, I occasionally used it overnight as well.
There’s one thing I especially want to emphasize:
Rest is also part of the process.
In my experience, consistency and staying with the routine mattered much more than using high tension. Pushing too hard can actually lead to injuries and force you to take time off.
I also tried to pay close attention to hygiene. I generally changed the tape every day or every other day.
And after about 7 months:
CI-2 → CI-3.5
For me, that was honestly an incredible change.
The biggest change was probably mental
At first, the process felt really long and boring. Sometimes I couldn’t be bothered and thought, “What difference will it make if I skip today?”
But eventually, it became a routine.
Now, when I go out without T-Tape, I actually feel like something is missing. 😅 It has become a part of my life. It’s almost like eating or brushing my teeth—just another part of my daily routine.
My goal is CI-6.
I have no idea how long it will take, but I’m not in a rush. I’m going to keep going slowly and consistently.
I also want to give a huge thank you to everyone in this subreddit. When I started, seeing other people’s experiences, advice, and progress really helped me and kept me motivated.
A few things I’ve learned from the process
Higher tension ≠ faster results
For me, consistency was much more important than intensity.
Don’t underestimate rest days.
If you injure yourself, you may have to take time off.
Pay attention to hygiene.
Try to maintain balanced development across the skin.
Be patient. In the beginning, it can feel like nothing is happening.
Most importantly, listen to your body.
I’m only sharing my personal experience; everyone’s body and rate of progress can be different.
7 months ago, I was around CI-2. Today, I’m around CI-3.5.
See you at CI-6. 😄
Happy restoring, everyone!
