Welcome to r/OccultistsNSFW. This is a place for genuine practitioners and students of the occult to post authentic, original NSFW content.

‘Occultist’ is already a very broad term, but it’s truly meant in the broadest sense possible here. We consider the occult to be any spiritual beliefs and/or studies outside of the mundane, so whether your interests lie in polytheistic, monotheistic or atheistic traditions or paths, your contributions to this community will be highly appreciated. For further elaboration on who this subreddit is for, please see the Guide. If you’re not an occultist, you’re still more than welcome to view and comment on the posts here!

Why this subreddit was created

While exploring the absolute masterpiece of human creation that is Reddit, I couldn’t find any occult-themed NSFW subreddits that weren’t aesthetic-based (if you know of any, I’m feeling real foolish rn 😔). I am by no means saying that those subreddits don’t have genuine practitioners and occult students on there, but for example, an occultist that doesn’t necessarily fit the aesthetic defined in the rules (often alt, goth, fantasy, traditional ritual clothing, etc.) can’t post there as it would be considered irrelevant content for the sub. Of course that is totally valid for those subreddits and their aims, but I was searching for a place for occultists of all outward expressions, so I made r/OccultistsNSFW.

I also want this to be a space where people can discuss and reference all kinds of occult topics, whether they’re well-known in the community or really niche, with other people who are interested and might have their own knowledge on the topic to share too.

What you’ll find here

All going to plan, you’ll find images, gifs, and text posts spanning a variety of aspects of the occult in an NSFW light. This includes rituals and spells, dedications, research and preparation, erotica, discussions and more. But while the occult is the obvious theme, the emphasis of this subreddit is on the occultist rather than the occult itself. What this means is that non-occult posts by occultists are also welcome, provided that they are tagged correctly (more on this in the Guide). The best way to get a comprehensive idea of everything you can post here is by checking out the Post Flairs and their meanings in the Guide.

All genders are welcome to post here!

Building this community

My main apprehension when making this subreddit was how I’d go about finding contributors. I can’t exactly go up to random NSFW accounts and be like ‘are you into the occult?’ and I certainly can’t go up to occult accounts and ask if they’re into posting NSFW content 😭 so if you happen to know anyone who is into both of these things, it would be absolutely legendary if you could introduce them to this subreddit! You can either let them know directly or send me their username so I can send an invite.
