Not enough until next refill
There have been quite a few posts regarding this issue, I just feel like I need someone to directly tell me what my options are.
Unfortunately, like many of us, my brain tends to believe the childish mindset of "more is better". I struggled with this when I was on Kratom, and ever since I quit and got on Suboxone, I genuinely haven't struggled often with it, until more recently. I started off taking my expected amount each day. I take 3 films everyday, but on some days, especially days that I struggle with more, I end up taking 4. I know it's not even needed or necessarily reasonable with Suboxone specifically, my brain is just so used to taking more and more in the past with my addiction. Due to this, I have ended with an amount that won't cover me until my appointment. I will have 4 - 6 days of no Suboxone, and I am a bit conflicted on what I should do about it. Thank you in advance for any of the advice.
Side note: to get down to specifics, my last appointment was on the 6th of August. I told them that I needed to pick it up earlier due to issues I was dealing with (I just didn't have enough because of overuse on some days like I explained above) and wouldn't be able to get it on the 6th, so we changed my appointment to the 3rd, and I got my refill. But because they asked me if I had enough until the 6th and I lied and said yes, they didn't make any changes to my prescription amount, so I technically (in their eyes) should have enough until the 6th of September, my next appointment. But because they wanted to make it easier for me because of how I couldn't get it on the scheduled day like last time, the 6th, they decided to just make my appointment for the 3rd of September. So because of this, and the fact I don't even have enough until that day (the 3rd of September), I essentially am missing close to 6 days worth of Suboxone.
