I already shared that I went strawberry picking this past Saturday, but yesterday I turned some of them i to a batch of ice cream!
It turned out so good; the trick is to slice up the strawberries you're going to use, then let them sit a while in some sugar and lemon juice before adding them to the ice cream base.
It's strawberry season in my part of the country! And I haven't picked strawberries in at least 15 years, so I treated myself while I'm home alone this weekend. 🥰
I've tried four times now to put into words what this place and the people in it mean to me, and I can't do it. You are all so amazing and lovely that I can't just say it in a Reddit post.

Alright, seeing the men's mental health stuff has inspired me to try and get this stuff out. A lot of it feels stupid, so this will most likely get deleted, but it may not, so here goes.
I don't think I've been doing so well lately when I think about my time on Reddit lately. Any time I post, it feels inadequate compared to everyone else I see pop up here. Just whenever I see a post, it feels leagues better than anything I could ever think of. And I know that constantly comparing myself to others doesn't make it better, but I can't help it.
And I just feel like I'm missing out on a lot here. Whenever I get a chance to check in on my friends posting, it's already been hours and I feel like I missed my chance. I will still leave a comment, but I feel bad that I can't be there right away to show my support. And lately I've also felt like my normal comments have been skirting the line, even though it's the same kinds of comments I've always left. Like I'll leave a sweet comment somewhere, but if I try to turn up the heat a little, then I feel like I'm gonna go over the line, so I feel like I can't be horny on horny Reddit and all I'm allowed to be is sweet and kind.
I don't know. It feels really dumb now that I've written it out and I'm looking at my words. I think that's why men don't share like this, because if we can't share it in a way that doesn't sound or look worth it, then we won't bother.
I'm just gonna go back into my hole, never verbalize this to anyone, and try go back to normal by tomorrow 😣

I know it's Sunday, forgive me! But after the day I had, I wasn't able to get these posted until today.
Yesterday was a birthday celebration for a friend of mine, and we had quite the day! First we went to a Pokemon card show, and I spent too much money on some cards to fill out more of my Pokedex collection. (And somehow didn't get a single picture of the cards I actually bought! 😅🫣)
Then we got lunch and hit a thrift store. Didn't buy anything, but I found the best selection of bumper stickers ever, and took a funny picture with an etch-and-sketch (after my friend added an arrow to it... if they only knew 😂)
Then we went home, rotted, played some video games (also not pictured are the Pompompurin cake pops our friend had ordered for today), got cross-faded, and got driven to a Japanese grill for dinner. We had a DD, so we were safe. And going to an all-you-can-eat restaurant while high was the best decision ever! Three words: MISO. MARINATED. BRISKET. 🤤
We got back home at about 11, and went directly to bed. 10/10 day!
Time for this shawarma and edible to take away the pain my body's feeling! 😅
So... I basically never read anymore. And that makes me an outlier here on NSFW Reddit. But if it will help bring back Stars and Barracuda, then I'll do it!
