Elders, I’m here to help. I know exactly what it’s like grappling with your faith and sexuality. Unfortunately, nothing in the church makes this easy… especially if you’ve followed prophetic advice to get married without being able to explore.
It can be so lonely. However, there are guys that have gone through all this… and it all turned out ok! If you’re reading this and need some advice, encouragement, or just a place to vent, please reach out.
I’ve been in your shoes. As a former bishop, I talked to guys on their path to discovery from a faithful POV. Now, as a fully “out” man living his best life with my best friend and big ‘ol gay blended family, I’ve earned some additional perspective on life.
Your journey is yours. There are consequences to choices. However, the outcome can be beautiful if you let it.
