What's the deal with this "might delete later" that people put in the titles of their photos?

I really don't get it. People post a picture on the internet, a load of people see it, a bunch of AI training bots slurp it up, anyone who wants it (for ...err.... stimulating material etc.) downloads it, then it often sinks down the subreddit into obscurity after a while...and *then* you delete it? What's the deal? I just assume anything I post is pretty much out there irretrievably anyhow!

I mean, is it just supposed to be some sort of clickbait? Like, "you must interact with my special content quickly or it will be gone!"? Because I just find it off-putting, and I think "OK, I've seen your pic, that's it, why do you think I care if you delete it some time tomorrow?"

This isn't really a big deal I know, but I just find it puzzling and a bit amusing.

No, just me, except I seem to have shrunk a few inches on the left! Shoes, brown and black block heel sandals from Long Tall Sally. Top & skirt on the left, Marks & Spencer, and on the right, dress by Mint Velvet with Long Tall Sally body. Apologies for no makeup!
