How bad is to to use thc to cope with depression and anxiety?

I know it's not ideal, and I don't do it too often currently, but if I'm being honest I'm just not happy and I don't see that ever changing. It feels like it's just too late for anything to change. No matter what I do once everything is said and done I always fall back into the same feelings.

I'm currently on a small dose of thc and it's not perfect, but I do feel a little better I think. I just don't know what to do at this point. Normally if I get really high I temporarily gain a new appreciation for life and living. But I always go back to wanting to die. Any advice would be appreciated!

Weed made me realize I'm the warrior!

I just started getting hyped man. I felt that warrior urge flowing through me. Ready to charge into battle against the entire spartan army and just fucking do shit. I started to really feel so much energy. Anyone else turn into a warrior on weed?

music while high is the greatest experience possible

I'm coming down from a high and listening to flood by boris. this is what life is, this is the beauty in this world. what am I saying. music feels like it becomes a three dimensional plane I can explore in my mind. everything hits harder and each note can be an emotional experience. It's amazing

Low doses of caffeine are really nice

I used to take about 300mg with little tolerance, and while it was euphoric at the time the crash was insanely hard and make me feel bad. The past two days I've just have around two teas and the effect has been really nice. It feels like a slight anti anxiety and anti depressent effect and just makes me enjoy things a bit more. It's not strong and isn't fixing anything, but it's pleasant and I really enjoy it. I've been really depressed lately and I don't know what I'd do without it. I'm in love with caffeine

I am dedicating my life to masturbating, any tips?

So I'm 21m and I have bad mental health. I find very little joy. I have decided to just dedicate the rest of my life to jerking off. I plan to do this for atleast the next 10 hours to start so if anyone wants to comment I'll respond. I probably will just watch porn and edge until I'm uncomfortable. Any advice?

Edibles while sleep deprived?

So I've done this before and I find the effects are pretty interesting. For me thc makes my imagination insanely amplified and being tired allows me to feel dissasociated enough for things to just run wild. I would say it feels pretty psychedelic. Obviously you need to fight the urge to sleep, but it's kind of amazing. To be clear when I say sleep deprived I mean to a very small degree, not like a full day or anything although that could be even more interesting.

What are your thoughts on how being tired changes the effects?

Would my life be better if I was a addict?

I know this post will seem like a joke based on the titles, but I seriously don't know. I'm very depressed and anxious and consider suicide every day, usually multiple times a day. Both my mom and dad were heavy addicts so I'm definitley predispositioned towards it. Due to poor mental health and bad decisions I have no real life experience and just don't see much of a point in existing. I sometimes see a homeless person and wish I could trade places, not because they are better off than me, but I just want to be anyone but me. I feel like I either need to be an addict or just die. I just don't know anymore.

Caffeine is my love, and I would marry her if I could

I just love caffeine so much. From tea to coffee it's all just great. I feel more normal and even a bit more mentally relaxed a lot of the time. Even with my tolerance being high now there is still a lot of nice effects. Caffeine is so widely used but somehow still underrated.

Oh caffeine how I love you. How you dance through the veil of reality to me. Holding me against you, telling me it's all okay. You're a shining light, a constant of the universe shining through the darkness. How I love you more than anything. I beg you to stay. I don't know how I could live without you in my life.

There's a family event happening and I can't bring myself to even go say hi. I feel like the only thing I could do that would help is drink, but I know it's a bad idea.

My social anxiety is really terrible and as the title says I should be interacting with family now. I'm currently sitting alone trying to decide if I want to drink so I'll actually be able to interact normally, or what to do. I don't normally drink but last time it helped my anxiety and went well. I am almost certainly genetically predisposed to addiction and can't see this ending well if I take that road.

It's so bad I've just been thinking of killing myself. I'd something as simple as this feels impossible I don't know how I could possibly live a life that's worth it. I do nothing Becuase of my anxiety and everything just feels hopeless. I honestly just don't know what to do and feel desperate. I feel like I'm on the verge of a panic attack or a mental breakdown.

I feel like I'm trapped and there's nothing I can do. That there's no way this gets better. I'm just desperate at this point and can't justify living if it's going to be like this.

Sleep deprivation mixed with caffeine is truly an experience

I will not reccomend you do this as it is very unhealthy on your body. I know this is a sub where people will do way more dangerous things but I would feel bad encouraging this. I will say however that it kind of feels amazing for me. I feel slightly dissasociative, and my memory goes pretty bad. It does completely get rid of my anxiety though and makes me feel way more comfortable than I would normally be.

I honestly feel like I can function a little bit more normal, although my mental abilities take a substantial hit. I go from being too nervous to talk to being fine with it, no anxiety stopping me from acting normally. It is honestly a bit degenerate behavior as you will function badly, but if you don't do anything with your life anyways this will be great for you.

My Inhibitions feel lowered but I still feel pretty in control. Things feel funnier and I am having a good time just existing. Like I said I can't really reccomend it due to health effects, but I feel like it is something that's never talked about, and if like me you have bad anxiety it does work, just make sure to not go overboard. I don't know if I'll be able to help myself personally though.

Anyone else love to masturbate while sleep deprived?

My mind just feels so empty of thoughts while I keep stroking myself. I can visualize better than normal in my head, but actual language is hard to come up with, even just typing this takes so much effort lol. My brain feels so mushy and nice, my body all tingly as I just keep going, often getting distracted before coming back for more.

Anyone else do the same?

Caffeine is the only thing that helps me, but after it wears off I feel terrible again.

Caffeine paradoxically helps my anxiety and makes me less depressed. I am able to enjoy things easier and just feel way better on it compared to when I'm off it. I'm currently dealing with the after effects and I feel like shit. It's the middle of the night so I don't want to redose, but going from feeling genuinely happy to wanting to die again is just such a rough feeling. The problem is the only other option is to constantly feel bad.

The thing is I don't even know if I feel worse after coming down, or if it's just going from a good mental state back to a bad one, it's honestly hard to tell. I just want to not exist right now, but I know the anxiety will make it awful if I try to sleep. I feel like there is nothing left to do. I don't know if I should take more and deal with having to stay up (I don't do anything anyway so it doesn't make much of a difference sadly) or just deal with wanting to kill myself for however many hours. I just hate existing at this point

Masturbating in my bathtub covered in blanket's while high

So I am high and thought it would be nice and cozy to lay in the bathtub, I kind of like more claustrophic spaces so I've closed the curtain. I have pillows under me so it doesn't hurt to lay in it. It's cramped but I like it. I plan to stroke for a while and despite it being weird I'm having fun. I have such a heavy blanket covering me it feels so nice. This is the dumbest thing I've ever done lol

Do you prefer high or low doses of weed?

I am currently on a low dose of edibles, no more than 2.5mg for sure. It feels nice. I'm not out of this world high and just kind of feel nice and no anxiety. It's just enough to feel it but for it not to take over, it's not peaked yet though so I guess I'll see.

Personally I really like low doses. It's almost like feeling how I imagine mentally healthy people feel. Big doses can be fun and are a very interesting experience but I get very anxious and often still deal with depressing thoughts. Right now I just feel nice. Anyone else feel similarly?

When I feel bad I fantasize about doing drugs, even though I've never done anything hard. I'm worried this will ruin my life.

So for context, and as known if you've seen my previous posts, I often want to do drugs when my mental state is low. I think I just hate being me even when I feel happier I just wish life was different. Both my mom and dad were addicts and I've seen how bad of an effect it can have, but my mind still craves it. I think it is just pure self destructive want.

Due to poor mental health I have made bad decisions throughout my life which has put me in a weird situation. I've always been the good kid and well liked, but my anxieties and depression has kept me from doing anything with my life. I have no work experience and only graduated through being pushed through by alternate means. I feel like my life could have been so much better had my mental health not gone off the rails.

I often hold on to what could have been and it makes me not make any progress forward. I spend most of my life lost in daydreams and not interfacing with the real world. I believe that being isolated has probably made me ore dissasociated as well. My anxiety makes this essentially a self made prison I am too scared to step out of.

My mind always goes to drugs in these moments, even though I've only ever done weed occasionally. I feel like it just becomes a loop I can't break out of. I know if I were to do it my life would get worse, but I Thi k a part of me doesn't care. And I've justified a lot of desicions before by saying I'd just kill myself later anyways. Now later has come and I don't think I really want to die, but I've put myself in a situation that makes it feel just as hard to actually live.

I could go on for longer but it's probably not that interesting. I guess I just don't know what to do. And if I do know I just refuse to do it. I'm worried that I've just fucked myself through years of unhealthy mental coping. There's got to be a way out, but I just can't seem to do it

Why does masturbating on weed feel so good? And why I think society would be better if people always felt as good as when high. And feeling hope.

I enjoy it a lot when I do it. An edible is hitting right now and I'm probably going to do it for the next while. Why does it make it so good though? I know it increases sensitivity and all that, and creates euphoria on top of it. But it's truly amazing. Why are we cursed to not have this level of pleasure while sober? I think humans should just be permanently in a state of feeling good like this.

I feel society would function better if euphoria like this was more common. There would be less fights and we would get along better. I'm alone but I just want to give people hugs right now. Tell people everything will be okay, even if I rarely feel that myself.

I've been in a very bad mental state for a whole now and the past few days have been rough, but I feel like I see the good in the world which is rare nowadays. I actually don't feel like dying right now and it's nice. I know it won't last and is only temporary, and that things will go back to how they normally are. I'm glad it happened though. I'm glad it happened.

Took an edible and plan to goon for the next few hours

It always feels great to jerk off when high, it's like enter a whole new world as the dissasociation mixes with pleasure. Feeling all nice and tingly. What are you up to?

Anyone else going at it right now?

I'm stroking and playing with myself. Feels good and nice. I'm throbbing good and teasing myself, not fully giving in. I'm so sensitive and just stroking the head feels really good. I'm pretty tired and feel dumb as hell, just stroking away as I can barely think. What about you?

Can DARE sue you if you signed the pledge?

So I went through the dare program when I was younger and we were made to sign a pledge and write an essay on drugs being bad. I'm pretty sure I remember the officer who taught us saying that if we were ever seen doing drugs we woupd be syed for breach of contract.

I haven't though about it in a long time but recently revered while high and got a little scared.

Would it be a bad idea to contact the police station and ask if I can void it? I live where weed is legal and that's mostly what I do, but not sure if it counts. I also do alcohol sometimes too but I don't know if they count it. The contract was definitley coercive but I have no money so I can't get a lawyer if needed. Any advice? Was the officer just joking or is this serious?

I finally understand alcohol and it's making me a little worried about becoming addicted

I'm currently drinking and I feel so much more relaxed and just normal. It feels like I'm back to how things used to be before anxiety took over my life. I feel nice and content without the constant anxiety, but that's also the problem. I feel so normal that I'm worried I could get addicted to this feeling. I feel like I understand people more as well in a way that's hard to describe. It's really weird. I never used to like alcohol at all but I feel like it's finally clicked, but I'm not sure that's a good thing despite how nice I feel
