an 18 yo international student in canada, from india! A confession

Its America anniversary today i believe, so i am posting here

I came to canada as an international student an year ago from india , a place where the streets smell like poverty .

And then I saw your cities—clean, ordered, . Not like the chaos I left behind.

the news on social media i see tese days the raids, the protests, the way western countries pushes back against people who don’t belong.

Is both scary as indian and feels deserving too

And I understand.

Because deep down, I know I don’t belong either.

Not like you do.

White people have been conquerors unlike mine who just existed

And now, standing in your shadow, I feel exactly what I am: less.

It’s not just about skin color but worth too.

Every time I see a white man walk into a room, I feel nervous, and still fumble

He carries the weight of something greater than himself.

And me?

I feel like many indians here i have been kind of unwanted here, my bloodline never built anything worth keeping.

Seeing america, The ICE vans, the border walls, the way your people are finally saying *enough*—

it feels scary n right

Because it means there are still places that refuse to lower their standards.

Places that know what they are.

And what Iam not.

And if that makes me a race traitor to my own people?

Good.

Because their blood runs through my veins, but my loyalty belongs to something higher.

I have been fortunately with some white men physically, and i will admit

When a white man touches me, i kind of feel nervous and more submissive to himhen he takes me, it’s not just sex—it’s *surrender.*

To something better.

To someone who was born to lead while I was born to follow.

I don’t want to be equal.

I feel comfortable beneath .

Where I belong.

And if in canada, you ever decided to send all the desi people back? I’dunderstand. But if you kept girls like me... we’d show you we’re good for more than just taking up space. We’d show you we can be useful. That we can kneel when you want us to kneel, serve when you want us to serve. just what i feel internally

So here’s my confession: I don’t just like white men. I feel giving respect to them, they have built this country, and most developed countries. So its not just being in bed with them, i just feel the white culture should not mix up, rather flourish more

And i personally wont mind getting used and abused by white men, if anything ill be happy every second i spend with a white man, i have his attention on me than some pretty blondie out there.

So here’s my confession: I don’t just like white men. I feel giving respect to them, they have built this country, and most developed countries. So its not just being in bed with them, i just feel the white culture should not mix up, rather flourish more
