Losing weight while recovering?
Anyone have any experience losing weight while recovering? Im currently 10 days PO and healing really well, but was anxiety eating a bit before my procedure and after as well. Combine that with being sedentary/not doing my normal workouts and I’ve lost muscle and gained some weight. Went to put on a pair of shorts for the first time today and they didn’t fit, weighed myself and I’m like 10 pounds heavier than my ideal weight and kind of freaking out because I don’t want to have to buy new summer clothes right now. Usually when I want to lose weight I just fast a bit in the morning and evening, and go on some longer walks and it falls right off, but not sure if thats a good idea while in recovery. I can walk fine right now so definitely going to start doing that more, but not sure if a calorie deficit would be great for wound recovery. Any experience with this/thoughts/tips?!
