What was your cost in U.S. for explant with or without capsulectomy? (No lift, no mesh. Just explant)
I am highly considering explant and this is my first question. I’m just starting my research today and it’s been a lot so far. I am in FL. I know this varies and I am thinking of consulting with my surgeon who put my implants in because she was wonderful and also does explants, but just curious what the average amount is or what everyone paid.
I’m not sure if I have capsular contracture or not but they started hurting. Left one feels different. I have allergan soft touch 240cc (I was an a cup) and they have a 10 year warranty. I’m on year 6. Did anyone have a portion of their explant covered? I was reading that sometimes they cover for a few different reasons and you just have to make sure your doctor codes everything correctly when you get diagnostics done (i.e. ultrasound)
