How do people reduce anxiety or tension from modafinil without losing its benefits?

Modafinil helps me stay awake and do better during the day, but it makes me more tense and anxious. The fact that I'm always on edge makes me feel more aware, which takes away from the benefits. I'm trying to figure out if this can be dealt with without stopping the medicine completely. For those who have been through this, what changes or methods helped ease the stress or anxiety while still letting the modafinil work?

I’ve been taking modafinil for a few weeks and some days it works well while other days it barely helps. Is this normal?

Since I've been taking modafinil for a few weeks, I've seen that it has very different benefits on different days. It seems to help a little or a lot of the time. Some days it works great and makes me feel awake and able to do things. I want to know if this kind of change from day to day is typical or a sign that something needs to be changed. Has anyone else had this happen to them? What helped make the benefits last longer?

Modafinil has helped me stay awake during the day, but it has also made me much more anxious and restless since I started taking it. It's hard for me to fully concentrate or feel at ease during the day because I'm more alert, but also stressed and on edge. What I want to know is if this is a regular side effect or something that can be dealt with. If you've been through this, what changes or techniques helped you feel less anxious while still getting the benefits?
