The bright lights of oncoming cars were harsh on Hannah’s eyes. She yawned to herself, blinking away the sleepy feeling. After passing a few signs, she decided to pull off the highway and take the exit, which ultimately led her to a run down gas station.

It was the middle of the night, only one car parked. As she pulled up to the gas pump, she peered into the yellow tinted windows, to spot the gas station attendant. He seemed older, and mostly harmless. Once the nozzle was in her car and gas began to fill the tank back up, Hannah began to approach the gas station.

The jingle of the bell alerted her entrance, and after perusing the aisle littered with what seemed to be expired snacks, Hannah decided she take the opportunity to use the bathroom. It happened to be one of the situations where it was outside and around the corner of the buildings exterior. With a key in hand she went on her way.

It was a little cleaner than she expected, but still rather filthy. A small sigh escaped her lips before she stepped inside. Not really wanting to touch much, she didn’t even realize that she hadn’t fully latched the bathroom door shut.
