Hello! I have been wanting to play a mother and son role play prompt for quite a while here, especially one that has a gentler and more romantic edge. I was hoping for a story that is as realistic as a plot like this can be, given everything. I'm looking for a long-term and slow burn story where a mother and son get to know each other again after lots of distance. The mother is in a very emotionally complicated place after the death of her husband and her subsequent decision to not let this grief dictate her life. The son is getting over a breakup and the stress of his degree and schoolwork, while also navigating his own coming-of-age and sexual experiences/knowledge.
I was thinking I could play Dylan. He's 18 years old with shaggy brown hair and big hazelnut eyes. His skin is pale and freckled on the arms and shoulders. He stands at around 6 feet with several tattoos littered at points throughout his body. Personality wise, he is someone navigating a depressive state. He can be morose, but still has a charm to him. He's sarcastic and dry-humored, while balancing a good heart. He cares about his mother and wants to be there for her as best as he can.
