26 M4F Question: is it intimidating for some women to talk to a man with an athletic to muscular build?
Just curious, I've spoken to a few people we in the past and I've had awesome conversations. But 2 conversations still linger with me for a bit, after exchanging pictures, the reaction I got from 2 women was one of 'i find muscular guys to be a bit more intimidating' which is a bummer cos man they were amazing, really genuine souls.
Now look I'm not stage ready muscular but I'm decently well built (I train quite a lot). I was just a bit surprised by that reaction.
And later I saw one of them was somewhat into more lanky guys who, (I don't want to sound rude) from my point of view, lack masculinity, I'm saying rather unathletic and somewhat like a twink (I'm really sorry I don't have a better word to describe her type). And for sure everyone has their preferences, it just sucks to have awesome conversations cut short because I look nothing like their version of 'comfort in a man'.
So the question is: am I looking too much into it or misinterpreting their interests perhaps? (Note we didn't share pics of our faces, only neck down) And the convos sorta does out from there. Just want to better myself at the end of all this☺️
