It seems like all of my friends have hooked up at some point from using Snapchat or Instagram and to be honest, they kind of joke around with me for being clueless on this but I genuinely don’t understand

Like I think I can probably flirt. I can be witty, I’m teasing, I know how to give a compliment that’s not creepy. A lot of them say that they can tell from the text and the messages that the other person is wanting to hook up, how can you tell that?

I (M20) understand like if you were on a date with somebody that was just a friend before because most likely if you’re on a date, then you both have a physical attraction to each other, but I’m really bad with social cues and reading it and I don’t quite understand

Me and my friend who was talking the other day and he was talking about how with a couple of the girls he was friends with they would just be like a randomly hanging out one on one with his friends and maybe they’re like chilling in a car, out taking a walk on the trail or just chilling each other‘s houses and apparently stuff happened and I just don’t understand how people are even knowing that they’re wanting stuff to happen
