On the day of the fight the arena is filled to the brim. Hundreds of faceless fans cheering with all their heart. But an event like this also attracts a lot of high tier celebrities. The likes of Akshay Kumar, suniel shetty and many women of bollywood make an appearance in the front row. Some were part of the movie which started this whole thing. Almost ironically, the man in the center of the cage was an unknown, he was the announcer and he kicked off the event "OOOOHHHHH MUMBAIIIII, ARE YOU READYYYYY!!!!"

"PLEASE WELCOME OUR FIRST WORRIOR! JACQUELINE FERNANDEZ!!!!" Jacqueline made her entrance. Everyone was always used to seeing her glamor but this was different. Not that she wasn't beautiful but this was a beauty driven by strength. Hair tied up tight, no trace of make up and a body that looked like a violent machine. She strutted to the cage door and had her gear checked by the referee before entering the cage.

"AND HER OPPONENT, DISHA PATANI!!!!" As disha made her entrance, her look wasn't as jarring as everyone expected similar traits to jacqueline, tied hair, bare face and dangerous body in more ways than one. She got her gear checked too. But before entering, her "best friend" Mouni Roy gave her a hug and wished her good luck. Disha entered the cage with the referee following her in.

The fighters took a second to stretch and prepare themselves physically as well as mentally for the fight. The ref called them to the center, then explained the rules. The announcer put the mic to the ref's mouth so everyone could hear. "This is a mixed martial arts competition. There are 3 rounds of 3 minutes each. I don't want any foul play or illegal moves. I will only stop the match on my discretion and not yours. Do you understand?" both fighters nodded "Keep it fair and have good fight" the announcer then says "LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLEEEEE!!!!!" proceeding to leave the cage to the fighters and the ref. The door closed shut behind him.

Fight:

Round 1:

The bell rings to start round one. The 2 take steps towards each other but leave some space, they are trying to read each other. They circle round the octagon slowly getting closer. Disha is the first to strike with a low kicks to Jacqueline's leading leg, gauging how she reacts. The next kick misses as Jac dodges it, she won't let disha hit her twice.

A second passes again. This time it's Jac who steps forward to try and land some shots on disha who evades or blocks most of them. They are getting familiar with each other. They both know that one of them has to make a bigger move eventually. It was disha who charges at Jacqueline, lunging at her legs in an attempted double leg takedown but Jac uses her slight weight advantage. She drops to one knee making it much more difficult to put her on her back. Disha is much lower in a lunging position and jacqueline tries to wrestle disha to the mat. She attempts to turn over disha and then get on top to control but disha is able to push back against it and then is able to create a separation getting out of jac's hands.

Both take a moment to get to their feet and square up again, now they know they are just as well matched in wrestling as in boxing. Everyone expects the rest of the round to be quiet. Jacqueline is trying to conserve all her energy but disha can afford some more action in the round. She charges again but this time gets into a clinch, the momentum pushing Jaqueline close to the cage.

The two start exchanging knees to the body whilst trying to push each other around. Jacqueline seems to have the slightest advantage due to her heavier weight, she is able to push disha back to the center of the octagon and that's when the bell rings. They let go and head to their corners.

Round 2

The bell rings signifying the start of round 2. The two women square up and get close to the center of the cage. Jacqueline knows that she doesn't have the same stamina as disha. The longer the fight goes, the worse her chances become, she needs to end the fight this round. So Jac is aggressive from the start, almost constant punches and kicks, never stepping back for more than a second.

Disha is defensive, barely throwing any strikes apart from the rare counter punch here and there. Her head is tightly tucked behimd her arms blocking. Her focus is on moving fast and dodging Jacqueline's offence as much as she can. Disha's defense against strikes is too strong to do much meaningful damage.

Jacqueline then grabs disha and gets into a clinch position. Aggressively striking with her knees to Disha's belly. Even though disha is taking more damage than she can dish out, that doesn't stop her from answering wihh a few knee strikes of her own.

With a little over a minute left in the round, Jacqueline is able to land a low kick to Disha's leg, taking her off balance to wrestle her to the ground. Disha falls to the ground and Jac wastes no time getting on top and gaining full control. However, Disha's arms forming the iron clad defensive barrier are still there and even though Jacqueline rains down hard punch after hard punch, barely any get through. She keeps wailing with more speed and power until the bell. Jacqueline gets pulled off of disha by the ref, she has survived the round against an hyper aggressive Jacqueline. When disha lowers her guard, it is visible that one of jac's strikes caught her nose causing it to bleed.

Round 3:

Jacqueline had drawn first blood and on the surface it might look like she is in the better position to win. The reality however, is that she was tired, more so than her opponent. Disha on the other hand had taken quite a few strikes, her nose bleed stopped between rounds but faint bruises were starting to form.

The bell rang for the final round and both fighters squared up again. Not for long though as disha didn't take long to launch quick and we'll placed strikes, not giving a defensive Jacqueline time to breathe slowly cornering her near the cage wall. While disha was more energetic, Jacqueline wasn't too far behind, throwing strikes of her own.

As the round went on, defense from both fighters was loosening. A combination of fatigue and sustained damage lead to less tactical thinking and more constant attacking from both.

Jacqueline initiated a clinch once more in an effort to subdue disha, she used her weight to push disha to the center of the cage. Jac was surely trying to take disha to the ground, if she is able to get the top control again, she might just be able to knock her out. Disha saw it coming and in blindingly quick movements, let go of the clinch and lunged at Jacqueline's legs for a double leg takedown.

Disha maintained her speed, she wasn't going to try and knock out Jac but make her tap out instead. Disha get to a side control position and grabs Jacqueline's arm. Disha tries to pull the arm straight and lock in an arm bar submission but Jacqueline uses all her strength to stop that by holding onto her arm using her other hand.

The struggle continues with mere seconds left on the clock as the entire arena watches with anticipation. Jacqueline's grip falters for a split second, the fatigue taking a toll on her. Thays all that disha needed to pull her arm straight and lock in the arm bar, she pulled hard putting intense pressure on Jacqueline who screeched in pain. Jacqueline had to just survive for a few seconds more and it takes all her strength to not tap out to the pain. DING the loud bell ends the last round and the fight. Disha knew how close she was to winning by submition, she lets go of her arm and helps her to he feet. The 2 fighters, gone through a grueling battle now looked at a sea of people giving the standing ovation.

Disha and jacqueline take their position on either side of the referee and await the result of the judges.

"your winner... via split decision... DISHA PATANI!!!"

The ref raises Disha's hand and the 2 fighters hug each other. [1]

Mouni Roy then enters the cage to hug her "best friend" disha and celebrate.

"that was a great fight, congratulations on the win, how do you feel?"

Disha replied, "Jacqueline is a tough fucking woman, I knew I was fighting one of the best. We had this fight to show our strength and we showed everyone and their mama that we can handle violence and action just as well as the guys."

The entirety of bollywood took notice of the massive commercial success this fight was, there are rumors of other producers doing something similar.

Disha patani and Jacqueline fernandez are both mainstream names in modern day bollywood. In addition, they have always maintained a warm and friendly relationship, often appearing for each other's movie premieres.

They had no problem agreeing to star in the same movie.

The movie is being shot in a tropical country somewhere in asia. With a massive cast, like the one in this movie, many if the actors have significant down time. No one complains about getting paid to do nothing. In their down time, disha and Jaqueline head to the gym. Being friends for a while, they know that along with acting and dancing, they both share a passion for fittness.

They go to a nearby gym and workout together. Doing excersizes side by side, spotting each other, they did everything they could using the equipment in the gym. The only thing they didn't touch yet was the ring in the center of the gym. They worked out to near exhaustion and called it a day but loved the idea of sparring in the ring. Both were trained in martial arts but never sparred with each other.

They decided to come back to it a few days later, once their bodies weren't sore anymore. In the meantime the curiosity was playing on both of their minds. They saw each when they worked out, noticing that the they both were in great shape, but who was more skilled? The question swirled in their minds.

Somehow, someway, the producers of the movie found out about disha and jac's plan to sparr. And his mind was flooded with fantasies of violence and intensity. He visualized the sweat flying off disha as she swung her fist, the grunt let out by Jacqueline as the hit lands, both their drenched bodies getting tangled on the ground... The producer realized that he can't be the only one who would find this concept arousing. There must be people willing to pay to watch that and the best part, the whole thing can be packaged as a show of strength against misogyny. The decision was made, he wanted this to be a public, broadcasted and professionally organized mma bout.

Both jac and disha were called to his room, where he proposed the idea to them. Making it a show for people to watch was a big departure from sparring in an empty gym. Not to mention the fact it will be in a cage. They were both riddled with the curiosity of the other's abilities in real combat, no scripts or rehearsals. On one hand the steaks were so much larger but on the other hand, they were gonna be paid massively for putting in just a small amount of extra work. The message of fighting against misogyny was the cherry on top. Disha and jac agreed but made sure to disclaim to the producer that they are friends and will not have some sort of artificial rivalry. While a little disappointed, the producer was still getting so much out of the deal, he agreed. The pr teams got to work announcing it on the internet. [1][2]

In a matter of hours, Disha Patani vs Jacqueline Fernandez was the biggest headline on every newspaper, news site, bollywood blog and social media like X, reddit, Instagram and YouTube. There was more than enough hype around it to guarantee the success of the event. However, the producer knew it can get even bigger and so he organized a weigh in and press conference event.

The hall was packed with journalists, clamoring to get the scoop on the ins and outs of the fight. An announcer took the stage and welcomed everyone, he barely had to do any work to rile up the crowd, some of them were practically salivating. "as you can see there are 2 weighing machines on stage with me, one on either side. We will have both fighters come up to the stage at the same time, they will both step on to the weighing machines and we will see their official weight on the screen."

With the crowd going wild, hundreds of cameras set up focusing on the stage, the announcer did what he does best "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome on to the stage, Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez!!". The crowd cheered louder than ever as the 2 beauties strutt onto the stage. It was obvious the 2 had discussed what to do as they wore identical, overly baggy t-shirts that hid their physique. Like a choreographed routine, they step onto the machines, after taking at look at each other, they turned back towards the crowd with grins on their faces and at the same time, grabbed a hold of the shirts and ripped it off revealing their physique to the world.

Disha Patani's abs were visible, her shoulders were toned, so were her arms and legs. Truly defining the pinnacle of fitness in bollywood. She wasn't skinny or overly lean, there was years of training and strength behind her. She belonged in the octagon. Her official weight was recorded at 55kgs. Jacqueline was bigger, slightly heavier, a solid core still visible, her arms and legs were larger but the difference was slight. She had more muscle than disha but it was too close to call. Her official weight was recorded at 58kgs. 3 kgs was a noticeable difference but skill, technique and endurance would be the deciding factors in the fight.

After posing with their muscles flexed[3], getting hit with hundreds of camera flashes, they proceeded to sit behind a desk set up on stage with a mic infront of them. A reporter asked, "question for both, is there any bad blood or hostility between you two?". Disha answered first, "No, not at all. We are great friends and that will continue long after this fight" Jacqueline then added, "yeah we are great friends and we have never had any problems". The reporter then extended his question, "then why fight?" Jacqueline responds, "we are both passionate about fitness and martial arts. We were gonna sparr together but thought why not bring it to the world. I mean, I don't think anyone is complaining" the crowd cheered.

The next reporter introduced themselves and asked, "why make this fight public?" Disha responded, "in bollywood and all over India, women are seen as damsels in distress. Someone the hero saves or someone only needed for romance" Jacqueline then continues, "look at us, me and disha are more than capable of being the lead role in an action movie, we will be proving that in the fight.

" What kind of fight will it be?" asked another reporter. Disha responded, "I know some people either want us to fight without clothes or some want us to do some extreme no rule fight. But we don't want any of that. This will be a normal mma fight with standard mma rules in an octagonal cage.

The next reporter asks, "if you are both great friends, would you fight hard? Or would you think about not hurting your opponent?". Jacqueline chuckles, then answers, "great question. Me and disha are trained in mma, we won't get injured, we can take care of ourselves quite well. As for fighting hard, I will fight as well as I can and when the fight ends, I we will have a laugh about our experience, I'm sure disha feels the same way." Disha nods and says "yeah".

The announcer tells everyone that there is only time for one more question. All the journalists raise their hands trying to get picked. "you ma'am in the front" the announcer picks the journalist for the last question. "as the last question, we have to ask the obvious one, who will win and how?" Disha responds first, "I will win, but Jacky is very tough so it might go down to the judges to declare the winner." Jacqueline, being more reserved, showing her experience, then says, "of course we will both try to win, we will do our best and in the end, let's just say... May the best woman win"
