I recline behind my desk in my well appointed soothing office reading a book as you walk in. You walk in, broadcasting worry or distress in your body language, into this space you've become comfortable in and plop down into your usual seat. While you pout and gather your words, I smile at you and look patiently over my black glasses at you. "These fucking people..." you say with exasperation. I smile and laugh at you, enjoying how casual we've become together "I know," I say chuckling. I move over to the chair next to yours across from my desk as we move deeper into conversation, subconsciously removing a barrier between us.
We're seen together often walking, eating lunch, and our chemistry is very noticeable. We notice the "knowing looks" but laugh about it because nothing is actually happening between us...yet.
