30 [M4M] #Online, Curious how others separate relaxation from connection in massage

Lately I’ve been wondering whether people value massage mostly for physical relaxation, or whether trust, comfort, and feeling understood play just as much of a role.

Interested in hearing from guys with experience giving, receiving, or exchanging massage:

Do you think the emotional side matters as much as technique?

Not looking for anything commercial, more curious about perspectives and experiences.

Has anyone noticed people are craving touch and relaxation more lately?

I’ve been thinking about how much stress, isolation, and screen time have changed the way adults connect.

Sometimes it feels like people underestimate how powerful a simple massage, physical comfort, or relaxed environment can be for reducing stress and improving mood.

Not talking about anything extreme, more about trust, comfort, relaxation, and feeling human again.

Curious:

Do you think massage is mostly physical relief, or does the emotional side matter just as much?

Interested to hear experiences or perspectives.

32 [M4A] #Toronto Ontario Canada: LF discussion partners or exchange experiences about tantric massage and emotional connection

I’ve been learning more about tantric massage recently and something I keep noticing is how experienced people describe it as being less about techniques and more about awareness, trust, breathing, and connection.

For people who’ve practiced or received tantric massage:

  • What made the biggest difference in your experience?
  • Technique?
  • Presence?
  • Communication?
  • Emotional safety?

I’m curious because many discussions online focus heavily on methods, but less on what actually creates a meaningful experience.

Would love to hear perspectives from people with real experience.
