Looking for someone to talk to
Bored, overthinking, or just feel like chatting? I’m down for random conversations, dumb jokes, deep thoughts, or whatever’s on your mind.
Say hi. Worst case, we awkwardly disappear. Best case, we become internet friends.
Chaos is a ladder gyud diay noh?
I’m just a little girl with big dreams. I’ve always wanted to climb the corporate ladder because, honestly, I want to make it to the top.
I want the career, the growth, the success, and the feeling of knowing that all the hard work was worth it.
But nobody really tells you about the price of climbing.
At some point, you become so focused on getting to the next step that you don’t realize how tired you’ve become.
You become restless. Your sleep, your peace, your relationships, even your overall well-being slowly start taking a backseat.
And suddenly, you find yourself asking, Is getting to the top really worth losing myself along the way?
Now I understand why some people choose to step down the ladder. Before, I used to think it meant they gave up.
Now I realize sometimes, stepping back doesn’t mean you’re a quitter. Sometimes, it just means you’ve finally learned when to breathe.
So for now, I’m taking a step back.
Not because I stopped dreaming, and definitely not because I gave up.
I just need to breathe for a while.
The ladder will still be there when I’m ready to climb again.
Still awake? Because apparently, sleep and I are no longer on speaking terms.
Looking for someone to talk to while I stare at the ceiling and question every life decision I’ve ever made. Hahahaha. Random chika, deep conversations, nonsense, or totally unnecessary midnight thoughts, I'm down. DM me if you’re also part of the “I’ll sleep early tonight” liars club.
Funny how the tables have turned.
From the beginning, you were the one who told me this was nothing serious, that we should just enjoy the moment, and not overthink it. You were also very clear that you’d be going back to your hometown and eventually abroad, so I understood that we were simply temporary people in each other’s lives. I never expected a relationship or commitment from this.
I took the situation for exactly what you told me it was.
I was honest with you about how I see things. I’m a logical person, and I don’t easily get attached just because someone gives me attention.
I knew what I was getting into, and I was completely fine with it. That’s why it’s ironic to see you now acting differently from the expectations you set yourself. You told me to keep things "chill", but when I actually treated it that way and continued living my life, suddenly it became a problem.
I told you I was seeing other people, and you had a hard time believing me, even though you openly told me you were seeing other women too. You seemed perfectly comfortable with the arrangement when it benefited you, but once you realized I was doing the same, your attitude changed.
At that point, it became pretty obvious that this was less about what happened between us and more about your ego being bruised.
If you became attached, I understand that feelings can happen, but that doesn’t make me responsible for them.
I never promised you a relationship or gave you a reason to believe we were building one. You became attached to something you originally described as temporary, and that’s something you have to deal with without putting the blame entirely on me.
That’s also why I eventually blocked you. I wanted peace and distance after my boundaries were crossed. Instead of respecting that, you created new accounts and continued trying to contact me and tell your side of the story.
You can post whatever you want and have people sympathize with you, but that doesn’t change what actually happened between us.
And regarding the mental health issue, I’m not dismissing anyone’s struggles. Mental health is important, and I would never make fun of someone for struggling.
But struggling doesn’t remove accountability. You can be hurt, disappointed, or going through something and still respect another person’s boundaries and choices.
At the end of the day, we were temporary people in each other’s worlds, just as you originally said.
You’re the one who seems to be having a hard time accepting the reality of the arrangement you created.
You can tell the story however you want, but you can’t rewrite the conversations we had or the expectations you set from the beginning.
Maybe what really bothers you isn’t that I hurt you, but that I didn’t become as attached as you expected me to.
And honestly, that isn’t my fault.
Looking for a human, not a “hey” machine.
29+ and capable of holding an actual conversation? Come say hi. I’m looking for someone to talk to, exchange random thoughts with, laugh about life’s questionable decisions, and maybe accidentally have a 3-hour conversation about something completely unnecessary.
Bonus points if you’re witty, curious, and your opening message is more creative than “hi, asl?” 😌
