June might be over, but the feeling never stops

I've learned a lot over the past few weeks going to various pride celebrations. I learned more about who I was and that being yourself shouldn't have to feel like a burden. I'll not forget how much we've done, and I look forward to the rest

A day out while on vacation

To think, these are two years apart from two very different times

Photo #1: My first time out in public at a show hundreds of miles from home. We weren't too entirely sure what it was, but it was very exhilarating.

Photo #2: this past weekend at a local Pride festival. We're still not entirely sure what it is, but I've learned and grown since then, and now I'm dedicated to living as me.

My first time going to pride dressed up

Nerves? Sure. I've gone out dressed up in crowds before, but nothing like this so close to home. It was one of the most freeing sensations. Turns out being around so many others going through a similar journey is very re-assuring.

It's back to real life today, with another chance to do it all again next weekend at a different even. Happy Pride Month, all. Be you, love one another, and if it's anything like this day was, drink water. It was very hot outside.

PS: dresses are the superior option in the summer πŸ˜…

Not sure if it's another side of me, or perhaps this is the real me...

Either way, the cat does not care. He just wants my necklace πŸ˜ΈπŸ˜…
