Hey!
I'm looking for a writing partner for a long-term (ish?) RP to hone some creative world building skills with.
I haven't fleshed out all of the details, but my current idea centres around a historical romance. Knowing how relationships between women have traditionally been cast in the 'close friends who lived and did everything together, nothing more to see here' kind of light, I'm curious to explore what that would have been like for women living that experience.
Do we hide the true nature of our relationship?
Do people simply pass us off as hopeless spinsters and never question our relationship?
We could dive into the Victorian Era, or perhaps a rough and tumble Western/Pioneer setting?
Maybe one of us is a Traveler lost in time, unable (or unwilling) to go home to their own timeline.
Or, maybe we abandon 'real' history and lean into a fantasy heavy plot - wizards, dragons and the like.
I enjoy focusing on the story and letting the tension build while digging into the details.
I usually write several paragraphs, and consider myself to be very literate. I'm not looking for perfection, at all. I would like to find someone who matches my vibe and who is capable of helping move the story along.
I usually reply a few times a day, but sometimes may take longer since real life tends to trump any fantasy.
...sadly....
