Should we bring back the weekly/monthly Beginner Discussion Thread?
Since implementing some changes in the automod filter system, I think we have cut down on low effort posts, which is a good thing
The 2 potential downsides of the new system though:
-Some newbies might feel like they're being ignored, might be not internet savvy enough to navigate and find answers, etc
-Some users really like helping new guys, and that's great, we don't want to discourage that
So we could do a weekly, bi monthly, monthly, newbie discussion thread where guys can post whatever questions they want, and more experienced users can help out if they feel like it
Also let us know if you guys are noticing any difference in low effort posts. We can see on our end how many are being auto-filtered/manually removed every day (it's a lot) but just wondering if it seems different on your end
