Posting Is Moving to Arkansas Verified Members Only

Hey r/ArkansasNSFW,

Quick mod update.

You may not see most of it on the public feed, but behind the scenes our modqueue has been getting buried by bot accounts, spam posts, fake/out-of-state posters, and low-effort junk trying to push through the sub.

We are talking constant queue cleanup. Hundreds of filtered posts. Too much time spent deleting garbage before it hits the page.

So to protect the community and keep it actually local, we’re changing posting access.

**Going forward, only users with the Arkansas Verified flair will be able to post.**

## What this means

To make a post here, your Reddit account needs to have the **Arkansas Verified** flair

No Arkansas Verified flair = your post will be automatically removed.

Commenting will stay open for now, but posting is being locked down to verified Arkansas members only.

This is not meant to punish real users. This is to stop the bot/spam wave before it reaches the subreddit.

## How to get Arkansas Verified

Verification is now handled **only through our Discord server**.

We are no longer verifying people through Reddit messages, Reddit chat, or Reddit modmail because the spam/bot problem has gotten too bad.

1. Join our Discord:

2. Go to the **#reddit-verification** channel.

3. Click **Get Verified**.

4. Confirm that you are:

- 18+

- Located in Arkansas

For Arkansas proof, you can use something simple like:

- A location/map screenshot showing you are in Arkansas, with your exact address hidden or zoomed out

- Or an ID/photo proof with everything blacked out except what is needed to confirm 18+ and Arkansas

Do **not** send your full ID uncovered. We do not need your full name, address, ID number, or personal details.

Once a mod reviews and approves you, we’ll give your Reddit account the **Arkansas Verified** flair. After that, you’ll be able to post normally.

## Already posted here before?

You’ll still need the **Arkansas Verified** flair to keep posting.

Everyone is starting fresh under the new system so we can cleanly separate real local members from bots, spam accounts, and people farming the subreddit from outside Arkansas.

It is a one-time step.

## Why Discord only?

Because Reddit verification has become too easy for bots and spam accounts to abuse.

We tried handling it with normal moderation tools: karma filters, account age filters, manual approvals, removals, and queue review. The problem is that the junk is still flooding the queue, and real posts are getting mixed in with garbage.

Moving verification to Discord gives us a better human gate before someone can post.

The goal is simple:

Keep the subreddit local.

Keep the spam out.

Keep real Arkansas members able to post without the place turning into a bot farm.
