🖤 1,000 Strong | A BBB Celebration 🖤

We made it to 1,000 members, and I thought the best way to celebrate would be to make this one about all of you.

For this event, I want you to share a photo where YOU feel beautiful.

That’s it.

It doesn’t have to be boudoir.

It doesn’t have to be professional, polished, sexy, glamorous, or taken for any special reason.

It can be lingerie, pajamas, a mirror selfie, fully dressed, naked, messy hair, dressed up, sitting on the couch, or an old photo you’ve loved for years.

Maybe it’s not the photo that got the most attention.

Maybe it’s not the one anyone else would call your “best.”

That doesn’t matter.

The only thing that matters is that when you look at it, you think, I feel beautiful here.

For the celebration, our usual Boudoir Only rule will be relaxed for posts using the temporary ✦ 1,000 S̷T̷R̷O̷N̷G̷ ✦ flair. All other BBB rules still apply.

So go dig through your camera roll. Pick an old favorite or take something new.

Don’t worry about what anyone else would choose.

Don’t worry about whether it’s perfect.

I just want to see you.

Note: this event will run through Sunday. 🖤

1,000 Members | 1,000 Reasons 🖤

When I started thinking about how I wanted to celebrate 1,000 members, I kept coming back to one thing.

The number was never the point.

BBB was created because there was a need for the kind of space we wanted to be part of.

A place for curvy people to share boudoir photography and simply feel beautiful.

A place where our bodies did not have to fit someone else’s idea of what boudoir was supposed to look like.

A place without constant promotion, porn being pushed into every corner, or degrading comments that reduce someone to a body part or someone else’s sexual fantasy.

A place where you could post a photograph because you loved the way you looked in it.

Maybe you felt sensual. Powerful. Soft. Playful. Vulnerable. Maybe, for once, you simply looked at yourself and thought, I feel beautiful.

That was enough.

Thirty-five days ago, I made a post celebrating 500 members.

Today, there are 1,000 of us.

BBB is only about two and a half months old.

What means the most to me is not how quickly the number grew.

It is what grew with it.

I have watched strangers encourage one another. I have watched people share parts of themselves they once struggled to accept. I have watched members remind each other that beauty does not belong to one body type, one shape, or one size.

I have even watched someone come here unsure whether a body like theirs had “photo potential” and find a community ready to remind them that their body was never the thing that needed fixing.

That is what BBB has become.

A community.

Every photograph, every kind comment, every vulnerable moment, and every person who has trusted this space has helped shape what it is today.

So I am not celebrating a subscriber count.

I am celebrating you.

There are many reasons BBB was created.

But there are 1,000 reasons she has become what she is today.

You.

Welcome to 1,000 Strong. 🖤
