I love doing stuff like this. Bringing someone’s OC into the Swelling Studios style is always a fun challenge, especially when they trust me with their character.

Violet Beauregarde didn’t win her golden ticket by luck.

She earned it.

After taking first place in her college gum-chewing contest, Violet walked into Wonka’s factory with one goal in mind. She wasn’t there to admire the candy. She wasn’t there to be amazed by the tour. She was there to win the grand prize: a lifetime supply of chocolate.

And nothing was going to get in her way.

But inside the Inventing Room, Violet discovers something even bigger than the prize.

Wonka’s newest creation.

A three-course dinner in a single piece of chewing gum.

Everyone is told it isn’t ready. Everyone is warned not to touch it.

But Violet has never been good at backing down.

Determined to be the first person in history to chew an entire meal, she snatches the gum from Wonka’s hand and starts chewing before anyone can stop her.

At first, she thinks she’s won.

Tomato soup.

Roast beef and baked potato.

Blueberry pie and ice cream.

Then the flavor becomes too strong.

The gum keeps going.

And Violet starts to change.

Her pride turns to panic as the dessert course fills her with juice, swelling her bigger and bigger until she becomes too round, too heavy, and too helpless to move.

Now the tour has stopped.

Her father is horrified.

Wonka has only one solution.

Call in the Oompa Loompas.

As they push, pull, and struggle to move her, Violet learns too late that some contests can’t be won by chewing harder.

And some flavors are more than anyone can handle.
