inside and outside works in progress

usually i have a different types of projects to work on while i'm at a public space and when at home. but right now it is a similar styles, and they are both close to the finishing point.

the indoors work is called "rebirth" and the outdoors is "overthinking".

usually when i drawing at home i have lectures from different universities playing on a background, and i was listening about recovering from cPTSD when i came up with the idea to draw a person supported by chaos. the professor in a video was speaking about 15 years of healing as average time for complex trauma, and i thought - "well, better later than never".

“Stressቻዪልርፕሁዪቿ“ Brion Kalkhorst 2026

Original 7014 x 7014 49 MP
Scaled down to 20MP to be able to post

I’ve spent several weeks on this piece using ideas from two of my previous paintings but it took a while to create something I felt comfortable posting. Every part is made up of original brushstrokes, some have hundreds of dots in small areas but all done by hand using Artset 4 digital paint on the iPad Pro. I tried to use several colors and unique mixes of colors than usual. I estimate several thousand brushstrokes but I had no way to track it. I appreciate you letting me share my work. This community has always been so supportive! 🫶🏼

Thanks! 🤘🏼
