I’d like to open a discussion about dogging etiquette.
There are some basic rules:
Never go dogging when children are present.
Obey parking rules
Never use high beam lights.
Keep your engine running, so you can leave an uncomfortable situation.
Don’t go dogging alone.
Communication rules:
We aren’t in Europe, so we probably won’t experience dogging without an appointment. So pulling up to random people will probably not be successful.
In local parks, there are often times couples are “parking”, Or just fooling around in their car. If you pull up next to them, they will just leave, or try to shoot you.
If you want to communicate that you are interested, make sure people can see you. If it’s night time, turn on interior lights. If not interested in the attention you are receiving, turn them off or drive away.
Never pull up very close to a car. Give people some space. Pull up at least 10 spaces away, and observe for signals. Do not pull up directly next to someone unless you’ve observed an obvious signal. Don’t forget, this activity is illegal in the United States. Being aggressive might land you in jail.
Signals:
If you see someone that you are interested in, turn on your interior lights.
Flash your lights on and off. If they don’t respond by doing the same, they are not interested.
Do not flash your stuff, unless you are female. Males flashing will 100% get you arrested.
