My review of my visit.

This was my first visit to Sun Aura, and I had a fantastic time. The people were incredibly friendly, and what stood out the most was how welcoming and nonjudgmental everyone was. It created a very relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to feel comfortable. The grounds were spotless and clearly well maintained.

There are just a few areas that could be improved. Since it was a holiday weekend, I was surprised there weren’t more food vendors available. Having additional dining options would have made the weekend even better. I also found that some of the longtime members seemed a bit cliquey, which made it a little harder for a first-time visitor to jump into conversations and meet new people.

Checking into the RV sites could also be improved. The site map didn’t clearly show where I was supposed to park, and the utility hookups ended up being on the opposite side of my RV, which made setup a little more challenging than expected.
The party was a lot of fun, although the DJ could definitely freshen up the playlist with a better mix of newer music. That said, the after-party at the Wild Place was an absolute blast and ended up being one of the highlights of the weekend. The Fourth of July fireworks show was also excellent and exceeded my expectations.

I decided not to rent a golf cart after learning they cost $80 per day, which felt a bit overpriced. Instead, I walked from camp to the dunes in about 15 minutes, and honestly, the walk wasn’t bad at all. During my visit there wasn’t much happening at the dunes that I couldn’t also enjoy back at camp, so I didn’t feel like I missed out.

Overall, I had an excellent first experience. The welcoming, judgment-free atmosphere and beautiful, clean grounds far outweighed the few areas that could be improved. I’m already planning another visit in August, which probably says everything about how much I enjoyed my stay. I definitely recommend giving Sun Aura a try if you’re looking for a friendly and relaxing clothing-optional resort.

July 13-15

I know that is it Monday - Wednesday, but really looking forward to sneaking out of work to go to camp.

I know mid-week is not nearly as popular, but anyone else plan on being there?

Passing through

Making a trip from MO to PA and just discovered this gem of a location. Downfall, we'd be stopping for a single night on the 5th.

Will it be a ghost town? Still worth stopping in?

Cabins - are they comfortable enough for a night?

We somehow managed to ditch our kids at the end of our family trip, so we're scrambling to find fun sexy things for us to do on the trip back. 🤣

July 4 Tent City Rollcall

We will be coming back for our 2nd year July 4th weekend. Staying in tent city, anyone else on here camping in the same area? Friendly young 30s couple looking to say hi to everyone in our cluster. Happy to help new couples break the ice and show them around.

Heat wave...Pool?

I am stuck at work. I was wondering if anyone was in the pool (or this week)....It is so hot that heat stroke is real concern, so I was wondering if it was so hot that people weren't going to the pool.

So.......who is going to the pool? How many people did you see?

First time

Yup another first timer. Im curious why so many people are clothed in a nude resort. Yes, its clothing optional but id expect more people to be nude at a nude resort. Just curious. And the trails are very nice.

First time

Hi, we are going for the weekend of the 4th. We were going to rent a golf cart but I think they are sold out. Are e-bikes allowed and if so are they worth bringing? Also we will be tent camping at the airstrip are those spots primitive or do they have electricity? Thanks
