I work in the city on a hybrid schedule. I've been at my current company for about 9 and a half years now. It's overall a great job, and while I wouldn't say I'm rich, I can live very comfortably. When I'm not working, I like a good bit of quiet time, but I want to get out more, especially this summer with the good weather pretty much here now. Up until now I've spent my free time visiting family on the weekends, working on techie projects at home, doing some gaming, watching documentaries, and learning about history. Speaking of history, I'd like to make visiting historical sites and museums a thing I do a bit of this summer.
Physically, I'm about 5 foot 8 inches, average weight, Caucasian, bald, and have a short beard. I'm working on getting into better shape and doing more at the gym. More bike riding is another summer activity I want to get into. I live next to a pretty nice place for riding! I'm also working on improving my diet. It's hard to resist a good sweet now and again, but I want to get to a point where the vast majority of my diet is unprocessed and super healthy. I also don't do any substances nor would I personally prefer to be in those types of environments often and/or where there's much of it. Attractiveness-wise, I guess that's in the eye of the beholder, but I'd say I'm average.
Personality-wise, I'm a pretty quiet and introverted person. I'd like to be less so of the latter in time though. I'd like to think I'm a mature and good person, and would hope you are similar. Also part of the reason I wouldn't enjoy going out partying and getting crazy drunk and such. I'll throw it out there that I think I have undiagnosed autism. For me, it's not so "severe" as it may seem based on stereotypical autistic characteristics. I mention this just as an explanation for certain things about myself that may be slightly different than the average person. And politically/morals-wise, I'm more progressive. I'm not actively involved in anything, though I keep up with what's going on.
As for who I'm looking for, first and foremost, I'm looking for someone who wants a genuine connection. I'd like you to also be mature and strive to be a sweet and kind person. I'm fine if you're introverted or extroverted, as long as if you're the latter you can accept that I'm not always the most sociable. Though, I do still want to get out sometimes and go to nice dinners and do fun things. Physically, I do more feminine, "cutesy", girly-girls so to speak. Likes to dress up and all that. Preferably you're about my height or shorter. Race or ethnicity aren't factors either.
If we get into a long-term romance, in terms of a future family, I'm uncertain at this time. Right now, I feel like I would need to work on myself in a lot of areas before being capable of being an effective father. I've historically felt like I'm not open to kids, but that could change. If it does, I think it would be quite a ways out before I'm ready.
