As the title states. Too many people post here without regarding the rules (primarily people posting without crediting the creator of the content they post), and thus failure to follow said rules may result in a temporary mute from the subreddit.

It's become very annoying to see basic rules of the subreddit consistently not being followed. If you are reading this post now, you know that repeated infractions will lead to permanent bans (particularly annoying infractions will get you banned earlier.)

If you are not sure what the rules are, you can always find them on the front page of the subreddit.
