The day starts at 6 AM, the first milking of the day. Each milking starts with a generous application of Teat Balm, a product that lubricates, disinfects, and keeps the nipples soft and pliable.

Hucows are milked six times a day for 20 to 30 minutes at a time. While hand milking is more intimate, efficacy demands all but the smallest operations use machines.

18 year-old Madison Buchanan is currently employed by Dan Gable. She's completed her initial run of hormone treatments and is producing nearly 3 gallons a day. She is considering a breeding contract.
