Well, today I learned something important:
I owe every person online an apology for laughing when they complained about “dead weight.”
Because let me tell you something — I am around 230 pounds, I work a physical job, I lift weights, I run, I cut grass, I wrestle Florida heat for a living, and I still underestimated this thing.
This doll is not just “heavy.”
This is deadweight heavy.
This is “why does gravity suddenly have a personal vendetta against me?” heavy.
This is “I thought I was strong until I tried moving a fantasy goblin mannequin with the structural cooperation of a sleeping walrus” heavy.
So to everyone I silently judged online for saying these dolls are hard to move:
I formally apologize.
I was young.
I was arrogant.
I was foolish.
The closet goblin humbled me.
That being said, I have to admit something: there is a strange mystic beauty to this thing. It is obviously not a real person, and I am keeping that reality clear in my mind, but in person the craftsmanship is much better than I expected. The purple skin, the face, the eyes, the fantasy design, the muscular but still feminine body — it has more presence than the photos showed online.
The body is especially interesting because it is not the usual exaggerated fragile-looking design. It has a strong, muscular shape while still reading as feminine. There’s a fantasy creature quality to it, almost like someone crossed an alien, a goblin, and a strangely confident gym rat from another dimension.
And yes, the anatomical sculpting is detailed. The vulva area is more realistic than I expected, which surprised me because I honestly did not know how much detail to expect from this price range.
This is my first time owning a companion doll, so I’m documenting this honestly for myself. My purpose with this is not to replace a real relationship, and it is not to disappear into fantasy. I went through a divorce. I’ve been trying to recalibrate my nervous system, rebuild my confidence, and move away from old unhealthy habits. I work almost every day, I stay busy constantly, and I’m trying to learn how to slow down without spiraling.
For me, this is an anchor. A private adult item. A tool for self-regulation. A way to practice calm, care, privacy, responsibility, and hopefully healing — without pornography, without chaos, and without pretending this object is more than it is.

This was not cheap, but compared to the emotional and financial chaos of trying to rush into something unhealthy, this may end up being more cost-effective as a private outlet while I work on myself.
The company is Doll Castle, and honestly, for a first impression, I’m impressed. The photos online did not fully capture how it looks in person. There are definitely learning curves: weight, storage, cleaning, moving it safely, privacy, and care. But as a first companion doll experience, I can say this:
It is heavier than expected.
Better looking than expected.
More detailed than expected.
More work than expected.
And somehow, against all odds, the closet goblin has earned a strange little place in the story.
Final first impression:
Beautiful? Weirdly, yes.
Heavy? Absolutely disrespectful.
Practical? We’ll see.
A savior? No.
An anchor? Possibly.
A closet monster? Without question.

I just got home from work and was ready to try out my new doll before I realized so many things were wrong with it
First is the most obvious the giant tear under the boob and I won't lie I was using the doll and only realized then about the tear but the dimple and holes I was able to see imideatly and the saddest part is the dimple deforming the left boob making it uncomfortable to squish it also is realesing a mystery jell can someone please help me out.
