One day these 2 leaders met on the battlefield  and something strange and unexpected happened. These 2 sworn enemies leaders of the 2 opposing forces from time immemorial and who had both been gifted blessings by the deities they worshipped by all known rules they should have fought each other to death. However a spark of attraction had formed between them  and from this cursed relationship a baby would be born

This baby would have the gifts granted by its parents twisted and manipulated by the deities as an act of punishment as if willed by the universe itself the gift of healing twisted into a curse preventing death and regenerating the body over many a years and the gift of full demonic knowledge cursed into a never ending ravenous craving of knowledge of chemicals and compounds more complicated that any known by the average man

This baby would then grow old raised by those loyal to Salix's cause however every month he would complete a pilgrimage to the former temple of belladonna to satiate his hunger eventually he'd become an accomplished soldier of his own taking up the mantle of Matt the shadow for as easily as he'd appear to turn the side in a battle he'd just as easily leave when the battle was won. His sword as swift as a falcon coated in anticoagulants and his gun as loud as a banshees scream booming with a flash.

From this secrecy he'd form a network with fellow soldiers such as myself and an old monk named tabun this network was used to protect and carry weakened soldiers away from battles with succubi and thrawls to fight another day

IT’S BEEN A YEAR 🥦

Hey everyone! You may or may not know me but I’m Veggie and it’s officially been a year since I joined the Maraikes community! Sorry in advance this post may very long and boring oh well…👀

Before we start of course we all know the state of the sub at the moment. It’s been a lot slower than usual for a while. Last year things were so much different at least for me. So eventually I’ve stopped having many experiences here due to things slowing down. But still I wanted to post this here as this is my first home and now I got introduced to the denial challenge. ❤️

MY STORY 📖

This account was really just a naughty alt. My backstory is not interesting. I was just a guy who lurked and scrolled on naughty subreddits during my free time. I got pretty active in porn relapsed subreddit for a time and I decided one day that I wanted to try a streak. So that’s what I did. I started my streak while being active in another subreddit known as porn relapsed but eventually I found something about hunting in a post which led me to Maraikes.

So I joined this community on May 11th with my first comment being under a post for the Maraikes GC. It was there where I started fooling around, meeting new people, and being active. Eventually I branched out and gained confidence to start commenting and posting here in the community. I actually commented a lot back then trying to drive and create engagement wherever I could. My plan was to get my karma up but also engage with as many people as possible. I was super active and met even more people at a pretty fast rate.

When I could finally be a soldier I wanted to become very good at the challenge while continuing my streak. And well…I did just that. I hit a 240 day streak and a 207 no touch while also having some other crazy denial accomplishments. I also was able to encourage others to hit some very big goals and became sort of a symbol of motivation and resolve for quite a few people. But most of all I made friends and had a good time on my journey. Yeah I was known for denial accomplishments but that part didn’t matter if I never made any friends. ❤️

As I interacted more, I was always sure to be respectful, fun, create engagement, encourage others, and do my best to contribute to the community when I could. Everything about how I moved in the community was intentional.

I’ve done it all and seen it all pretty much. I’ve been a recruit, soldier, Captain, comrade, Hunter, Hybrid, Nutter, Master, Daddy, Good boy, and I’ve even been a Medic and Rogue Medic in other denial subreddits outside of this one. I’ve done no touch, back to back months, been in a hunter dungeon, survived multiple hunts, got miked, never done reset, done lore, raced to a shower, went on adventures, been on the news, joined many soldier GCs, and eventually I got the chance to become a mod in other denial subreddits similar to this one. It’s insane how far I’ve come and how much I did this past year. 😭

I even had the privilege of impacting so many people here as well. I remember all the comments and messages I would get telling me how much I meant to people or even how much I meant to the sub. I was told how much my time here has made a positive impact on others. I’m glad that was the case. ❤️

Quite a few consider me special but really I’m not. I’m just a guy procrastinating on the NSFW side of Reddit. 👀😂
