Alex returns home after a busy day at work expecting to be alone, but something in the house feels wrong. When Emma Rosie appears as a mysterious stranger, the encounter quickly reveals that she is no longer acting like herself. Whatever has taken hold of her is using her body for a much darker purpose.
Later, Melody Marks confronts Emma and tries to reach the friend she once knew. Instead, she discovers that Emma is already gone, leaving only an empty vessel controlled by an alien presence. By giving Emma her full attention, Melody becomes the next person pulled into the same nightmare.
