Advice for spicing up with the wife

So me and the wife have a very healthy sex life. Four or five times a week. She initiates a lot of times. We are in our mid 40s and have been together since high school. Lately it seems like she is more and more curious. Here are a few comments she’s made to me just this week. “You know you can be more rough if you want to. Throw me around a little bit”. I told her that I only know how to be a gentle lover. She replied with “we’ve been making love for 30 years. Now Im ready to just be fucked!” This shocked me but turned me on big time. I’m looking for advice on ideas of things I can do. Maybe soft Dom type stuff? I’m not familiar with bdsm or anything. I try to pump harder when she asks, but it’s still leaves her wanting more.

Unable to get into a position to penetrate

We are both 24, and dont have prior experience.

For reference, I am 6'3" and she is 5'4".

I love to go down on her and know that she gets pretty damn wet after a while. When we finally decided to do it, I got on top of her, but my penis just wouldnt get in. My size is a sub 6 which is know is not small. We laughed it off ended with eating her out.

This has now happened multiple times and is getting frustrating now. It is not vaginismus, but something to do with the position. Not able to get it right. Whenever I am awkwardly able to just get the head to touch the vag, I'm not able to push in any further. I dont know if it is the discrepancy in our heights or how long my legs are or what, but I really need to figure this stuff out.
Anyone out there who ever faced a similar situation?
PS, we also tried pillows
