Hi everyone!

I’m a 30 y/o guy living in Raleigh, NC. I have been inactive since September 2025, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey.

I was a lifelong “true believer”. I won’t bore you with the details of what happened that made me step away from it all - including the responsibilities I had in the organization for over a decade- but I will say this: it’s been liberating.

The one downfall is that my social circle was basically nuked. My whole life revolved around the congregation and the “friends” I had. Once I stepped away, I realized most of my relationships were fickle. Now I’ve been tasked with rebuilding my social life and finding out who I really am outside of religion. Of course, the first order of business is destroying the guilt that was constructed in my body - specially around sex- but I never learned to flirt or seduce, and let me tell you it’s been a fun trial and error experience, haha.

But anywho, if you’re in my area and want to hang out, pm me! I’m not necessarily looking for a hookup situation, I just want to make new friends. I’m sure we can trauma bond over our JW experiences lol.

Be warned, although I no longer believe in Christian teaching, I have no ill will against it, nor the people that still believe in it. I don’t want any negativity in my life, I look forward to living to the fullest from now on! Cheers to freedom :)
