Trying to figure out when my next trip out to the SLO area will be, and wondering when it starts to get not as nice to head out to the Cove for a day. Whether it's too cold, too overcast, etc. When does beach season end?

Thinking about taking a trip to pirates tomorrow but there are many posts about dangerous individuals on the beach. Does anyone know if they attack anyone that's just enjoying the beach? Thanks

As the title reads, I watched the piercing guy and some other large buff guy gang up on some dude by throwing a rock at him, shove him onto a rock, and then starting a fight when he tried to defend himself with a stick. Part of Bill's group. Saw two others join in as well. What is wrong with these idiots on the beach. Everytime I'm there I always hear them being loud and extremely fucking drunk. Friends of mine have had run ins with them before too. Heard a group of people had questions asked about their genetalia recently by one of the women who frequents this group and she was basically blacked out yelling at them. Makes me extremely uncomfortable and not want to ever visit this beach again. These people are nuisances
My wife and I have only been to pirates cove. Looking to go to a beach where it’s a bit more accessible for the kids. Anyone know of any nude beaches in the area?
