I never realized they were sisters, but you can definitely see it.
Here is Raven Red, which was originally released in 1940 and is still around today. I can't say whether the color has changed over the years or if my bottle is 100% accurate, but it sure looks right to me! I could do a comparison at some point. This bottle does contain a metal wand so potentially pre-war. Application was kind of a pain because the original wand lost some bristles and the longest wand I found to use barely hit the fill line. You may notice it looks a bit splotchy. I included photos under different lighting because, as usual, it looks darker in lower lighting. The light pigment on the bottom you see did not budge with a metal stir stick and over a week of sitting with thinner, I don't believe that will budge.
I also found some ad pages. The newspaper announcement is from 1940. The other two are from 1944 and 1945.
I would rate her 10 out of 10.
So pretty.
She is absolutely stunning.
Taylor Swift has shown everyone that a red carpet manicure does not have to cost a fortune.
According to a recent article, the shades she wore to the Grammys came from OPI’s Wicked collection, including Let’s Rejoicify and Nessa-Ist Rose. One of the standout details is that the polish is budget-friendly, with the featured shade priced at about $12.
Just a little reminder that you can get a polished, celebrity-inspired look without spending a fortune.
