Seamless Pantyhose Reviews and Request for Recommendations

I love seamless tights/pantyhose because of how they feel and how they look - for fun and to stay warm in the winter. I’ve tried many different pairs, but I still haven’t found the perfect ones. I hope the mini-reviews below are helpful, and maybe they can help you (or me) find even better options. If this goes well, I’ll do the same for non-seamless.

What do you recommend? And if you recommend something, please be specific: brand and model, and where you bought it (so it’s easy for me to find and order myself).

I’m an average Northern European-sized man: About 180 cm (5'10"), 75 kg (165 lbs), living in Germany and I have a small “dad-belly”.

What I look for in seamless tights
I prefer seamless tights where the material is the same throughout—no reinforced areas on the body. In particular, I don’t want any change of material or texture in the crotch (many unfortunately have this). The fabric should be smooth and feel uniform everywhere.

Denier also matters. If the den is too low, it behaves like a loose net and parts of my skin can push out uncomfortably. For that reason, 15 den is okay for a while, but once the fabric “opens up” during the day, it becomes uncomfortable. Interestingly, for those Chinese brands on eBay and Amazon, 5 den (or even 1 den) seems to do this less than 15 den, although I don’t fully understand why (maybe you do?).

Also, those are usually “one size,” and they’re just a bit too small for me. If you know of any that come in mostly proper size ranges (not only one size, at least a larger size), please tell me.

My target price is €20 or less (about $23).

My current favourites
My current favourites are Calzitaly 15 and Cette 15. Lighter colours often feel softer than black, which can feel more “plasticky.”

  1. Avela Basic 30 Seamless (XL/noir)  €10
Really nice: soft, good density, and good fit. It reminds me of the older Golden Lady 50s, but softer—and it doesn’t have the reinforced crotch that Golden Lady versions have now. The weave isn’t perfectly consistent or super smooth, but it’s not bad. The rise is fairly low, which takes a little getting used to, but I also like it.  Bought at Coop in Zurich.

  2. Calzedonia “Totally Invisible” 20
Nice waistband, and it feels lower than 20 den. Slightly “plasticky” feeling, but still good overall (about 8/10). Calzitaly 15 seamless are softer and have more generous sizing, and I prefer them. Black is not as soft as nude.

  3. Calzitaly 15  €16
These might be my go-to so far. Soft, available in 2XL. I’d prefer 20–30 den, but even at 15, they are great. Lighter colours are softer than darker ones. Dark Red has a good texture and feels like a tighter weave. These are my favourites so far.  Their anti-chafing shorts are also similar.

  4. Cecilia de Rafael Opaque Seamless Tights “Miss 60” (408)  €18 (4L/marron, but it seems more chocolate than reddish.)
Beautifully soft. The short-panty area feels a bit disproportionate compared to the legs, but it sits correctly on me and is easy to wear under pants for warmth and comfort. The waistband rolls over a little on me, but then stays in place; it’s thin enough that it feels like it belongs. There are clear transition points at the hip joints (front and back), but the “zones” don’t feel noticeably different.

  5. Cette 15  €20 (2XL, colours sand and red violet.)
Wonderfully soft, generous sizing, and a very comfortable waistband. It offers slightly more coverage than the Calzitaly seamless 15s (in a good way). Black is a bit less soft and less uniform in colour, but still nicer than most from Calzitaly.

  6. Cervin Dolce 30 €12 (4 = black)
Nice texture and quite silky. The waistband feels a bit plasticky. When I slide them on, they remind me of Calzedonia “Totally Invisible” 20s, but they may be slightly softer, even with 20% elastane instead of 25%. They’re surprisingly sheer for 30 den (enough that it makes me doubt the denier). On-body texture is slightly more plasticky than I expected, but they are very comfortable, and they stay exactly where I put them.

  7. Coop Seamless 40 den  €16 (L in natural, noisette, noir.)
Amazing feel. Fit is great. The waistband is tight on me, but it’s at the right place for my dad-belly, supporting nicely (with only slight rolling down). I liked them so much I bought several. Excellent value compared to other options.  Bought at Coop in Zurich.

  8. Coop Seamless 60 den €16 (L noir)
Thick, “cotton-y,” and very cosy. Texture isn’t very uniform, but the waistband is comfortable, and under pants it acts as a good insulator. Not perfect, but good.  Bought at Coop in Zurich.

  9. Fascíno 60 Seamless €7 (M black)
Decently soft material, nice medium-wide waistband, and good stretch. But the crotch area has an ugly and uncomfortable pattern. Side note: the size number on the inside back of the waistband looks like Golden Lady.

  10. Hedoine “The Nude” 20 low waist €12 on eBay (M/L, “02 Vivid Champagne”)
Robust feel but still soft. The size feels relatively tight—almost too small. Higher elastane helps with softness, and the texture has a fairly open net structure (though my skin doesn’t poke through like it sometimes does with 15–20 den). The look is similar to Calzitaly 15 seamless, but slightly softer. Waistband is firm without cutting in. They stay put perfectly as I move—no need to adjust, and no rolling down. Over time they seem robust rather than brittle. Low wait is medium rise for me.

  11. HTRUIYATY matt seamless €15 (one size, black)
Soft and fairly silky. They stretch to put on, but don’t snap back much. Fit is just right for me because I’m specifically looking for seamless tights that reach only to my waist—not over my belly. They feel a bit like cheaper pantyhose, but without that “stretch-back” vibe. They’re very thin. They feel nice while on and almost invisible. The waistband works perfectly for me—but if you want high-waisted, this is the opposite. They’re expensive for how they feel, and they are quite delicate.

  12. Krystelle 30 Seamless Pantyhose €10 (size 2, “ultra violet”)
Interesting sparkly electric violet. Good coverage while still being sheer at 30 den (that’s my favourite level). Texture is soft but firm—not buttery, but reasonably slippery. The waistband looks like an afterthought but is comfortable enough when wearing them, and they are quite robust. I also wish more seamless tights came in 30 den.

  13. Maison Close Signature Seamless €46 (got half off)
Incredible texture (33% elastane). They shape to you extremely well. The denier feels more like Calzitaly 15, though Calzedonia 20 can feel similar: you can clearly see the weave where they stretch more. But the feel is… incredible. I wonder why other brands don’t add more elastane to get this kind of texture.

  14. Omero Divina 20 Seamless Tights €18 (L/nero)
Eye-catching texture, very similar to Maison Close but cheaper. The waistband is wide but essentially perfect: it sits exactly where you put it and doesn’t move. Sheerness feels lighter than 20 den to me; they are fairly sheer. The black colour can be slightly uneven. Over time the legs loosen a little, and the texture shifts between silky and slightly sandy. When they feel good, the texture is amazing.

  15. Platino Sinn 10  €18 (III-G/TE, largest size they have; kind of hybrid brown/off-black)
Extremely soft - almost unbelievable. They stretch like crazy, though I wish they were a bit more roomy and/or less “brittle” feeling. Even at 10 den, they still give good coverage because they lay down “like liquid.” The waistband has a silicone lining that seems to stay put. Much better than I expected for 10 den.  I just wish they came in a larger size and higher den (like 30). Seriously, the feel is unbelievable.

  16. Rose Akura “Lilith”  €17 (L–XL, chocolate brown no. 8416)
Insanely slippery, shimmery, and “sexy” texture with long legs. The waistband is partially transparent and is huge - it comes up high and also extends frustratingly low, pushing down my groin/package. Because of the fit for the price, I won’t buy again. But the texture… wow.

  17. Tiffany Quinn Platinum 50  €12 (L in black)
Weirdly, the 50s feel lighter than the 40s. These feel like older Golden Lady “My Secret/Invisible” (50, I think) from before they added reinforced crotch and with a higher waist. They also have a V-shaped seam when tapering towards the crotch, similar to Wolford Fatals. It doesn’t bother me, but it changes the texture direction to more horizontal—when I prefer it to be vertical.  Not bad, and I’ll keep and wear them. If they’re easy to get, they’re a decent deal. Probably not something I’d hunt for. Size is fine, but the waistband can cut in if it’s not sitting perfectly.

  18. Under2wear (Rossmann) seamless 20 den €7 (L/44–46 “Make-up”)
29% elastane. Amazing texture, and no reinforced gusset. They feel slippery but aren’t very forgiving, they’re work to get on. Sizing is okay, with a very broad (slightly stiff) waistband. A bit “sandy” feeling too. Not bad but not great. Interestingly, black is softer and nicer to wear. They also seem cooling, especially with a little wind. Still, they have that “leaking net” effect where skin can poke through (not worse than Calzitaly 15s).

  19. Victoria’s Secret Signature Gold Seamless Sensations €20 on eBay (discontinued; L/black, M/white)
Soft, slightly cotton-like, and the colour in the legs isn’t very even. Waistband is narrow but fairly comfortable, and the height works for me. They can feel a bit baggy.  I remember a girlfriend trying them in the 1990s: she found them comfortable but strange in the body.  Tip: PIV sex is easy with these because they stretch a lot in the crotch. They were a revolution when new, but now I’d compare them to older Golden Lady seamless (before reinforced crotch).  Warning: they rip quickly if you pull them up by the waistband too aggressively.

  20. Yilanmy Shiny Tights 20 den (seamless) €17 (2XL; black & tan)
Nice slick feel (even if a bit thick and slightly numbing). Almost feels like they finally fit—but the fabric is still a bit tight and the waistband is pulled downward. Fit is a little strange: there’s extra material between the legs that takes time to settle and lie smoothly. The waistband is fairly low, leaving little room for my package. They are delightfully shiny and super slippery though.

Tried but I would not buy these again

Calzedonia Totally Invisible Make-up Effect Premium 15 den
Extremely brittle—barely lasted a day. Several small pulls/tears around my groin/inner area (no runs). Looks like you’re basically naked, and sometimes the feel is wonderful when something slides over them. But because they’re such low den and light, they’re prone to skin pushing through and losing the slick feeling I want.

Calzedonia Totally Invisible Premium 30 (MIC058, 019 Nero)  €13
Comfortable and reasonably silky, but surprisingly small for an XL (still okay for me). Would be great if they didn’t have an annoying reinforced gusset.

Calzedonia Totally Invisible 50 (XL)
Soft and comfortable, but texture is a bit coarse. XL was very large and almost baggy on me.

E. Cecilia de Rafael Sevilla Libero 15  €23
Same waistband as Wolford Fatal 15s, but much more plasticky (and slightly shinier). Texture feels like vintage pantyhose from the 1980s. Not worth it when you can get Cette 15 or Calzitaly 15 seamless at the same price.

F. Cette 50 €24
Nice out of the package, but not particularly smooth or silky on. Comfortable, but not the smooth texture I’m looking for. They feel very similar to Calzitaly Opaque Seamless 50s, so they might be essentially the same.

G. Cervin Dolce 50 — €12
Disappointing: rough reinforcement in the crotch. Also the waistband came too high.

H. Dim Body Touch 30D (46/48, black)
Soft waistband and good low rise (which I prefer), but the texture is stiff and plasticky.

I. Falke Sensation  €32 (L, colour 8509—basically nude)
A bit plasticky, and it feels like more than 20 den, but thinner when worn. The waistband is higher than expected and feels a little scratchy. They fold over and slide down persistently.n Honestly, for half the price, Calzitaly 15s are just as good or better. Also, cheap €7 seamless from eBay can feel just as good (even if less durable).

J. Gatta Discrete 15 €13
Plasticky feel, not sheer enough towards the waist, textured gusset, and relatively small sizing.

K. Hedoine The Bold 20 denier low waist  €12 on eBay) (M/L all black)
Much more plasticky than “The Nude 20” and not particularly attractive in texture. Waistband is very tight but stays perfectly in place; the legs don’t feel baggy at all, even during the day. The weave prevents skin from pushing through (which can happen with 15–20 den seamless). However, one slightly rough fingernail and there was already a pinhole, which became a short run over the day.  They’re decent, but not great and not worth close to their €35 retail price.

L. HTRUIYATY seamless 6 den shiny oily  €13 (red, one size)
Semi-opaque (more like ~50 den). Very slick feel, but almost numbing. They are a struggle to put on, but comfortable on the legs once they’re on.  The problem: the waistband is extremely high, coming up into my ribcage. There is also a seam from the toe up the inner leg, meeting a sewn-in diamond-shaped gusset of slightly rougher material. They feel good on the body, but the waistband is unbearable for more than a short time - a pity, because the material itself is nice.

M. Nina Ray Collant Seamless 30 denier “3D Velato” (Modelle N.7) €18
It’s great in theory (sustainability), but it just doesn’t feel good—slightly scratchy, and 30 den feels like 15 or less. Not smooth or slippery. Fit of L/XL is true to size and fits me well, with a very comfortable Calzedonia-style waistband. I won’t buy them again.

N. No Name seamless from AliExpress €4 (nude)
Beautiful texture, but at such low den, once it stretches over my body it creates uncomfortable gaps. Too small, and the weave is too loose.

O. Platino Sinn 50  €20 (III-G Negro)
A bit too small for me, but still manageable. The waistband has a sticky silicone lining, which isn’t the most comfortable but is okay. The material isn’t very smooth. They do feel warming, though.

P. Sisi “Nude Effect” 20
Not soft. Not very elastic either—so they feel saggy. The denier seems lower than expected, and the waistband is uncomfortable.

Q. Sosoft S-SOT seamless  €20 (XL, lila)
The material is thick and stiff.

R. Swedish Stockings Beata Seamless €37 (XL, black)
More coarse and “plasticky,” with a slightly industrial feel. The colour is also blotchy compared with Calzedonia 20 seamless or Calzitaly 15 seamless. For twice the money, I’d rather buy two pairs of the others than one pair of these.

S. Transparenze Claudia 20 €29
Nice feel and a good waistband, but they are extremely delicate. I caused the first stress tear just pulling them on. Then a major run started from the front middle and spread to both sides. They’re not worth €10—and definitely not worth €29. I won’t buy these again; they wouldn’t survive a night with any real movement.

T. Wolford Fatal 50 €35
Rough texture, especially in the crotch area. These are the first seamless tights I remember as “mesmerising,” and they still are visually. But they absolutely aren’t worth the price. It’s also frustrating when people say “Wolfords are great” some are, but these don’t compare well to other seamless tights.
