Turns out I was worrying about absolutely nothing 😂
First UK nude beach experience at St Osyth… and another little milestone in this unexpected naturist journey.
I won’t pretend I wasn’t nervous walking down there on my own. There was definitely a moment of wondering whether everyone would look at the lone new bloke arriving and think “who’s this guy?” 😂
Then the clothes came off, I went for a swim… and once again, within minutes, all that anxiety just disappeared.
Nobody cared. Nobody was judging my 53-year-old body. Everyone was simply doing their own thing and enjoying the sunshine.
Coming out of the sea completely naked and walking back up the beach felt ridiculously natural and wonderfully liberating…
…although the graceful return from the water was slightly undermined by me going “ouch… ouch… FUCK… ouch” across the bloody pebbles. 😂🦶
A few weeks ago I’d never have imagined myself doing this. Now I’m starting to wonder why I spent so many years worrying about what my body looked like to other people.
Apparently Czechia started something. 🇨🇿😂
