We are a married couple, both 26, from Chennai, and we've been married for almost 3 years.
For the past 2 years, I've slowly shared my fantasies and kinks with my wife. She's always been quite traditional, so I never expected her to be interested. Most of our conversations only happened during intimate moments because she seemed more comfortable then.
Yesterday, I decided to have an honest conversation before we got intimate. I explained things like roleplay, swap, SRSP, and a few other relationship dynamics. She didn't judge me or get uncomfortable. Instead, she was curious and asked questions about why some couples enjoy these experiences.
Later, we decided to try roleplay for the first time. I asked if she'd be comfortable imagining someone else and saying my friend's name as part of the fantasy. She actually went along with it. I also imagined being with my friend's girlfriend as part of the same roleplay. Neither of us expected it to feel as immersive and exciting as it did, and we were both surprised by how naturally it unfolded.
After everything, she acted completely normal. There was no awkwardness, no regret, and she didn't seem uncomfortable discussing it.
Now I'm wondering if this is simply a one-time experience because of the moment, or if it's a sign that she's becoming more open to exploring fantasies together.
Has anyone else started with roleplay before exploring anything else? How did those conversations evolve over time while making sure both partners stayed comfortable and enthusiastic? I'd genuinely love to hear your experiences.
