Me [40f -married] was at my best friend's pool party last Memorial Day. My husband had to work so I went solo. No biggie as I knew everyone there and probably 30+ people so plenty of conversation and drinks to be had. My bestie and her husband are great and we've been friends since college.
After half a day of day drinking I jumped into the pool and swam up to the edge of the hottub and was talking to some friends.
