Hello guys,

I need your honest advice on this situation. I have a female friend whom I've known for 6-7 years. In the beginning, there was nothing like that — she even used to tie Rakhi on me. I never thought of her in any other way.

But for the past few years, I've started developing feelings and the urge to get physical with her. She's currently living in Delhi. She used to hide the fact that she drinks, but yesterday she sent me a snap of a liquor bottle. This morning I messaged her saying I also want to try drinking but don't have anyone to do it with (I've never drunk before).

She replied saying "Come to my place." When I told her that after drinking I might do something wrong (ulta-seedha), she said something like: "We'll both be alone in the room anyway. If anything happens, we'll handle it bhai." She has used the word "bhai" twice while saying this.

Now I'm really confused. Is this her way of giving me a green signal/hint, or is she just being friendly and I'm overthinking it? I don't want to ruin our friendship because we've known each other for so many years. At the same time, her reply is making my mind race.

What should I do? Should I go? How do I interpret this?
