Ended up finding these dvds but no cases. When I went to the counter to pay a lady was working, handed them over and she seen what I was buying and gave me a look of curiosity, I only imagine what she was thinking.

DVDs are all original with original covers, bought between 1999 and 2013/14
Most were from adultdvdempire plus a couple of other sites in the US, they shipped without the dvd cases to keep shipping costs down, I have put them all in plastic dvd wallets that save a lot of space on storage.
There are around 450/500 in total, I have sorted through around 200 so far and taken pictures. Media Blasters’ John Sirabella updated ahead of Anime Expo last month that they had picked up an interesting hentai release. After previously working on the two-episode Boin OVA series that saw a few releases over the years, they picked up the never-before-released Resort Boin for a planned Blu-ray release in the US.
Now, the series is set for a September 15th, 2026, release, and they’re looking to make sure fans can get just what they want. They’ve scheduled a release with just Resort Boin on Blu-ray, but also a combo release that features it and the original Boin OVA series. Check out the finalized cover artwork below.
The OVA series was directed by Kosuke Murayama from the scripts by Taifu Sekimachi. Murayama also did the character designs for it with MS Pictures on the animation production.

I tested a sampling of each different batch that I could find and they all played in my older Sony DVD player. Some of it is censored or pixelated, but not all of it. Most of it seems to be from the 80s, 90s, and early 00's.

I'll try to keep this brief. I work for an estate sale company porn and sex toys are something we deal with often. Usually the lovely older ladies who run the company let me handle it because I have no scruples to speak of. The husband of this particular estate was a meticulous cataloger of his media. And that included his very extensive collection of porn. He was a Japanese guy and I'm pretty certain it's all Japanese porn. It seems to be all DVD backups of VHS tapes with several films per disc. Normally I would sift through and pick out some titles, maybe back them up to my own servers, but there's an issue of scale here I've never considered. I'm staring down the barrel of something upwards of 1000 DVDs. There's a whole catalog printed out with photos of the spines of the original tapes. I haven't really been able to decipher the organization system yet.
Tl:dr - I've got about 1000 burned dvd backups of vhs porn. Could be anywhere from 2000-4000 titles in total. Would anyone be interested in purchasing the collection?
Also if this is the wrong place to ask this, are there any other subreddits that you think would be better?
I personally have a portable DVD player, an external optical disc player for PC, a portable monitor with a Blu-ray player (can also play DVDs), and a projector that can play DVDs. I’m trying to find the most comfortable way for viewing during “sessions”. I have housemates, so the projector doesn’t get much use, lmao.
hi! What limits do you set for yourself so that you don't buy too much? I personally have a problem that I spend a lot of money on movies that then just sit there. I end up not watching most of the things I buy. Anyone here who has or has had a similar problem?
